Likewise, Junior World Wrestling Champion, Danielle Lappage, originally from Alberta and now training at SFU, hopes to add to her title by making her first Olympic team in her first year as a Senior wrestler. "Wrestling With Attitude" follows these two athletes, one at the end of her career and the other just beginning, as they prepare for the Canadian Olympic Trials in Winnipeg. Along the way, the film examines the roots of women's wrestling, including many of the obstacles, misconceptions and stereotypes that serve to hinder acceptance and participation in the sport.
