- The video was produced and directed by John H. Reynolds of Middlin' Creative, with assistance by John Muzyka, and it features cameos by several Texas singer songwriters, including Tommy Alverson, Deryl Dodd, Brent Hoodenpyle, and Jason Manning. Pop singer Lisa Joshi plays a prominent role in the video as does former Hooters girl, Taylor Whitten. The last scene of the video takes place in front of the Star Cafe in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
- Billy Bob's Texas and Smith Music Group departed from the norm of recording Country artists on the big stage of the World's Largest Honky Tonk when they reached an agreement with The Toadies. The rock and roll group hails from Fort Worth, Texas and have played at Billy Bob's since 2013. Since they were formed more than 3 decades ago, Cowtown has embraced The Toadies as "their band."
- Charlie Robison's authentic personality, narrative vocals and his always entertaining "Good Time Charlie" show is personified in his Live at Billy Bob's Texas DVD. Recorded in August of 2012, Robison delighted his fans at the world's largest honky tonk with their favorites, including "El Cerrito Place," "My Hometown," and "Barlight."
