In the meantime, Claudia has her life under control again and has found a new life partner in the sympathetic family lawyer Thomas. Meanwhile, Carolin is toying with the idea of following in her mum's professional footsteps, so she does an internship at her mum's hospital. The shock is all the greater when the teenager finds out on her 17th birthday that she was adopted as a baby. Disappointed and deeply hurt, she blames her mother for never telling her the truth over the years. She now wants to find out on her own who her birth parents are. With the help of the youth welfare office, she finds what she is looking for: her mother's name is Chantal, she is in her mid-30s, chronically broke, but always in a good mood. She leads an easy-going life without family obligations and keeps her head above water as a beautician in a small hairdressing salon in Hamburg's Kiez. Carolin is fascinated and impressed by Chantal's carefree manner, as she is so completely different from Claudia, who is buttoned up in a Hanseatic way and always keeps her feelings under wraps. The attempt to get to know each other better at a mother-daughter dinner ends in a scandal due to Claudia's jealous taunts. Nevertheless - or precisely because of this - the relationship between Carolin and her biological mother is becoming ever more intimate. Finally, after a heated argument, the girl leaves her parents' house and moves in with Chantal in her tiny neighborhood apartment. However, it doesn't take long for Chantal to admit that she's still not up to the responsibilities of being a mother.
Conti will nicht moralisieren, sondern verstehen.
- Jakob is hopelessly after his childhood sweetheart Marie, who left him seven years ago. When she unexpectedly stands at his door, everything is exactly the same with him as it was before. Marie is also tingling again, because she now sees her "ex" with new eyes. However, this is not due to Jakob, who still has his old job as a toy seller and lives in his little room, but rather to a misunderstanding. Marie thinks he's a successful photographer who lives in a stylishly furnished loft. In the rush of happiness, Jakob keeps to himself that the dream apartment and photos belong to his traveller's neighbor, for whom Jakob only waters the flowers. He doesn't want to jeopardize the long-awaited chance - against the advice of his best friend - to regain Marie. Jacob soon became overwhelmed by the consequences of his white lies and half-truths. So he has to pass his single work colleague Lotte, whom he takes in with her eleven-year-old son Ben for a few days in the luxury apartment, as his ex-wife. In order to return the favor to Jakob, the self-confident Lotte helps him with her female expertise. Although he stays on the road to success with Marie, he is increasingly distancing himself from the lovable dreamer that he actually is. Above all, Jakob does not see who is really good for him.
Sie will keine Fehler machen.

- Closing off a crime scene in the forest with a man's corpse - that underwhelms Ida Sörensen. Until the homicide squad from Esbjerg arrives, the patrol officer confidently expands her job assignment. To the chagrin of her conspicuously bad-tempered colleague Magnus Vinter, she begins investigating on her own. Inspector Frida Olsen is as astonished that Horik Holm was executed with two Viking arrows, as is the family background: The victim is the son of an underworld boss who comes from the tranquil coastal region. When Kort Holm arrives, he leaves no doubt that the perpetrator will be brought to justice. For Ida's colleague Magnus, the case is doubly tricky: not only does he know Holm better than he initially admits. A suspect, his own nephew Bjarne Vinter, is also close to him. Magnus and his colleague Ida must solve the mysterious murder and also protect Bjarne from Holm and his henchman Bech.
- The disappearance of nine-year-old Jan Poulsen (Michael Hoppe) causes his parents, the handball star Mikkel (Nicklas Kingo) and his wife Tamara (Laura-Sophie Warachewicz), to panic. Shortly afterwards, the kidnappers make crazy demands: Mikkel should terminate the contract he has already signed with a large Parisian handball club and stay in Flensburg in the coming season. It makes sense that the perpetrators are a few crazy fans. Svenja Rasmussen (Katharina Schlothauer), who has now decided against returning to Hamburg, and Antoine "Tony" Haller (Eugene Boateng) investigate the fan scene with the help of club chairwoman Fiona (Romina Küper). But the hope of being able to hold Jan in their arms again soon does not come true for Mikkel and Tamara.
