- Quasimodo goes into action when a magician seeks to steal one of the bells of Notre Dame.

This quarrelsome trio retrieves stolen property, rescues runaway ships, and protects sensitive witnesses, squabbling and bickering all the way.

- Miyo interrogates with Tomitake, but is informed about Rika and takes command of the group to capture Keiichi's friends. The soldiers move out en masse to the mountains around the Sonozaki estate where Rika and company are located.
- Akasaka and Tomitake break through the road blockade and make it to the city, where they call for the activation of the Banken combat unit to arrest Miyo and the remaining forces. The rest of them concede defeat, but Miyo cannot surrender. She flees into the mountains and confronts Rika and her friends.
- Rika hides Satoko in the house.
- Influenced by Keiichi's encouragement, and the fact her friends are starting to avoid doing the same mistakes by remembering glimpses of what they could have done, Rika decides to find a way to prevent her own ominous destiny.
- Claus and Al escape with Luciola's help, but Dio fate is yet to be decided...
