Der aufgebrachte und sehr besorgte Vater, Alexander Jacobi, berichtet einem Polizisten, dass seine Söhne Sammy (11) und Milo (13) wohl morgens nicht in der Schule aufgetaucht seien und keiner ihrer Freunde und Mitschüler etwas über ihren Verbleib wisse. Katja bietet ihre Unterstützung an und erfährt von Alexander Jacobi, dass seine Kinder vor Kurzem ihre Mutter verloren haben. Während Katja und er den restlichen Tag sowie einen großen Teil der Nacht damit verbringen, die beiden Jungs zu suchen und überall in Frühling Vermisstenanzeigen aufzuhängen, nähern sich Adrian und Lilly einander wieder an.
