- Shot outdoors in the summer of 2003, "Born for Death" was Brandt Street Studios most ambitious project to date, and won "Best of the Fest" honors at the 2004 Chicago Horror Film Festival. With a microscopic budget that went mainly towards fake blood and pig intestines, this epic exercise in guerrilla filmmaking explores the brutality of man, the perils of scientific advancements, and most importantly, how ridiculously awesome blood looks when it shoots out of people. Features strapping young men in kilts, grotesque predators, savage combat, and an average of one gallon of blood for every two minutes of screen time.
- One kid and one camera add up to one intense day of no-frills filmmaking with an explosive finish.
- Three close friends. One common enemy. Bad Plans. Worse Luck. When it's summer in the suburbs, even if crime doesn't pay, at least it's something to do.
