- Peanut Hunt is an irreverent comedy that satirizes children's public television. The show follows both the onscreen and the behind-the-scenes interactions of the cast and crew of "Peanut Hunt", a fictional PBS style children's learning show that has been around for 30 years and is rumored to be on the verge of cancellation due to declining viewership and support. The show consists of short learning and "edutainment" segments hosted by different cast members.
- Damon Buck isn't a has-been, he's a never-was, a waylaid director and filmmaker, who hires his college roommate Quinn Robertson, the first 'stunt host in the history of reality television,' to star in his directorial debut, The House Party. Meanwhile, Damon's friends, Beatrix, Wiggy, Trevor, Josh, and Andrew think they know about making movies because they watch Bravo or read Entertainment Weekly. While they don't intend to undermine Damon, their lack of talent may. We witness all of this through the eyes of Ace, Damon's younger cousin, who, in possession of a DV camera was asked to collect footage for The House Party's eventual DVD bonus materials. A Totally Minor Motion Picture is Ace's accidental film and his camera as a character creates an awkward realism that lends itself to the realty TV theme.
- Peter goes home for the first time in many years after inheriting the unwanted house from his estranged uncle Ray. Once there, Peter finds Ray's caretaker, the eccentric young Lily, living in the old house. Ray's death leaves Lily alone and with no place to go. With Lily's subtle help, Peter is forced to face some of the harder truths about both his past and present situations. 'Scotch Hill' is a quiet character study of individuals at personal crossroads. The film is a simple, but potent slice of life addressing in subtle, poignant ways the complexities inherit in family relationships, aging and a person's sense of home.
- Marlene Mapplethorpe and Connie Roche, the top-selling hosts at Home Shopping Experience (HSE), a regional shop-at-home network serving New Hampshire and 3/8ths of Vermont. Their personalities and programs couldn't be more different. Marlene caters to the modern, sophisticated woman on The Look With Marlene Mapplethorpe. Connie, a bubbly mother of two, chats it up with her callers and sells all things crafty and cozy on You're Home, With Connie Roche! They coexist by keeping a polite distance, until Suzanne Somers-a home-shopping juggernaut-launches her own home shopping network, Year-Round Somer(s), and chooses New Hampshire as one of three test-market states. Today's Special, The Pilot, brings you right in on this pivotal day. Attempting to protect HSE from Somers' inevitable pull of audience and sales, HSE's owner, Bob Evans, makes some dramatic changes that have the station reeling: layoffs, new studio tenants (a regional Spanish-language soap opera, Andale Te Amo), and most shocking of all, Marlene and Connie now must share air-time to boost ratings and sales.
- The Bits in Between follows the ups and downs of a group of friends who are all in some way pursuing a career in acting or comedy in New York City. Over two days, we watch them bomb and succeed, in life and onstage, until it all culminates in one humiliating, hilarious and ultimately liberating audition.
- After winning a large cash settlement in a lawsuit, Jerry Bloan quits his career as an actor and gets his dim witted but good natured half brother Kip to join him to pursue his dream of starting a talent agency.
