When he tells his story to D.W., she says that it is boring, and she suggests to make Pal an elephant. Then whenever Arthur tells his changed story to a friend, they keep telling him how it can be improved, and eventually becomes a really bizarre story/'Arthur's Lost Dog': The Read family are out celebrating Downtown Day in Elwood City, and suddenly Kate cries, but Mom, Dad, Arthur and D.W. don't know why. Pal knows that Kate is crying because she wants a balloon, so Pal runs away to get one. Arthur thinks that Pal ran away because he doesn't like Arthur.

When Thora tells her grandchildren that she is in charge of the school bake sale, Arthur and D.W. try to come up with a way to keep people from buying Thora's cookies.
- 'Arthur's Baby': Arthur is worried about what it would be like to have a new baby in the house. After Kate is born, she cries whenever Arthur holds her, but doesn't cry when D.W. holds her. When Kate cries nonstop, D.W. and Arthur try to solve the problem./'D.W.'s Baby': D.W. is very happy to have a new baby sister, but she doesn't like her as much when Kate's crying keeps her up at night, or how she stinks up the room with her dirty diapers, and she doesn't like how Kate is getting more attention than her. D.W. comes up with several plans to make Mom and Dad like her more than Kate. But finds out that maybe a big sister is what a little sister really needs. That and a clean diaper. P.U.!...

Her classmates ask Mr. Ratburn to give her a good part, and so he casts Francine as Thomas Edison. But Francine lets the role go to her head.
- 'Arthur's Chicken Pox': Arthur feels funny in art class. It turns out that he has the chicken pox. D.W. is jealous of the attention that Arthur is getting because he's sick. Even Grandma Thora gives Arthur special treatment/Sick as a Dog': Mr. and Mrs. Read keep telling Arthur not to give his food to Pal. One day, Arthur finds Pal acting lethargic and making weird noises. Arthur is worried about what the vet will do to Pal, and Arthur blames D.W. for making Pal sick.
- 'Arthur's New Puppy': Arthur got the dog that he always wanted, but the problem is that puppy Pal is always making a mess. Can Arthur train him? If not, what will happen to Pal?/'Arthur Bounces Back': Arthur wants to buy 'Moon Boots', but he needs to earn ten dollars, and earning money isn't easy for him.
- Arthur's Pet Business: Arthur wants a dog. His parents will let him have a dog on one condition, that he can prove that he is responsible enough to take care of one. So Arthur decides to run a pet-sitting business. Arthur is careful to follow all the instructions on how to take care of Perky, Mrs. Wood's dog, but no matter what he does, Perky always growls./D.W. the Copycat: When Arthur tells D.W. that everything she likes is boring, she decides to copy Arthur by doing everything he does and by dressing like him.
- 'Bully for Binky': Binky Barnes in the toughest kid in school, and he's always taking the other kids' desserts! So the picked-on kids try to come up with an "anti-Binky plan." Binky ruins Sue Ellen's attempt to break a rope-jumping record and that makes her mad. So she tells Binky to meet her outside the school at 3:00. When Binky learns that Sue Ellen takes classes of the martial art Tae Kwon Do, he does all he can to avoid meeting Sue Ellen./'Mis-fortune Teller': For Prunella's half-birthday, she receives a fortune-telling device called a "cootie catcher." The kids test it by asking questions about future events. Finally convinced about the power of the cootie catcher, they start asking questions that would make decisions for them.
- D.W. All Wet: D.W. enjoys her field trip at the aquarium...until she sees an octopus. It gets so hot in Elwood City that Mr. Read suggests that the family should go to Bear Lake. But D.W. refuses to go because she thinks that there are octopuses in the lake./Buster's Dino Dilemma: When Mr. Ratburn's class goes on a field trip to Rainbow Rock State Park, Buster finds a dinosaur fossil and wants to keep it for himself.

But Arthur thinks that D.W. will embarrass him talking about Nadine in front of his friends./Arthur's Lost Library Book: Arthur borrows a lot of books from the library, including the newest 'Scare-Your-Pants-Off' book, 'The Mysterious Hand'. Arthur forgets that he had 'The Mysterious Hand' and tries to find it before he has to return it.
- 'D.W.'s Snow Mystery': D.W. has kept a snowball in her freezer ever since last winter. When she discovers that it's missing, she accuses Arthur, Buster, and Francine of stealing it. Everybody has different ideas of what could have happened to the snowball and accuse each other of taking it out of the freezer./'Team Trouble': Arthur, Buster, and Francine are teamed up to do a report on Ancient Rome. Together they agree to make their report creative and decide to do a comic book. Arthur works on the 1st page, Francine the 2nd, and Buster the 3rd. But when they show each other their finished pages, they notice that their completely different and tell the other two kids to change their pages.
- 'Locked in the Library': Francine is mad at Arthur because she heard that he called her a marshmallow. But then they are assigned to work together on a report about heroes. When the two of them do research in the Elwood City Library, they doze off. When they wake up, they realize that the library is closed and won't open until Monday. Will Arthur and Francine ever make up?/ Arthur Accused: Arthur has collected quarters for a new dog for the Elwood City Fire Department, but Mrs. MacGrady says that she never got them. Mr. Haney thinks that Arthur stole the quarters. Can Buster Baxter, Private Eye, prove that Arthur is innocent?

"Arthur, World's Greatest Gleeper": Arthur and Buster are stuck sitting at the "Tough Customer Table." Buster tells the Tough Customers that Arthur is really good at gleeping, not knowing what "gleep" means. Eventually, Arthur and Buster learn that "gleep" means "steal," and Arthur's reputation as a thief escalates.
- 'So Long, Spanky': D.W. has a pet bird named Spanky that she likes because he annoys Arthur, and she can dress him up. But then Spanky becomes sick and dies, and she doesn't want to replace him with any other pet. However, when a toad comes into the Reads' yard and follows D.W. around, she gets frustrated because it won't go away./'Buster's New Friend': Instead of hanging out with Arthur, Buster hangs out with his new friend Mike. Buster boasts about how good Mike is at miniature golf and bowling. Arthur and Buster are supposed to do a science project together, but Arthur is always stuck doing it himself, so Arthur is mad that Buster spends so much time with Mike.
- 'Sue Ellen Moves In': A new family has moved to Elwood City. Buster thinks they're aliens, but Arthur doesn't believe it. All the kids think that the girl, Sue Ellen, is not a normal kid. They have theories that she is an art thief or a spy. Who is she really?/'The Perfect Brother': Brain is spending the weekend at the Reads' house. Arthur is mad at Brain because Brain is always being smarter than him, being neater than him, and eating better than him.
- 'Arthur's Tooth': Francine calls Arthur a baby because he is the only kid in Mr. Ratburn's class who hasn't lost a baby tooth. So Arthur does all he can to get his loose tooth out./'D.W. Gets Lost': When Emily shows D.W. her new earrings, D.W. begs her parents to buy some earrings for her. Mrs. Read tells D.W. that she will take her to the department store so they can look at the earrings together and will make a decision once she sees the earrings. When D.W. and Mrs. Read are at the store, Mr. Crosswire asks Mrs. Read if she can spare 5 minutes to talk. During those 5 minutes, D.W. and her imaginary friend Nadine wander around the store looking for the earrings, but they end up getting lost.
- 'D.W. Thinks Big': Aunt Lucy is getting married. Arthur is the ring bearer. Cousin Cora is the flower girl. D.W. wants to help, but she's too little. When Arthur loses the ring in the church organ, D.W. finally does her part./'Arthur Cleans Up': The park is covered with trash, and Arthur wants to do something about it. Mr. Read comes up with the idea of a "kids' clean-up brigade." He tells Arthur's friends that it was all Arthur's idea, but his friends don't want to help because it means making sacrifices. Francine's dad, who is a garbage man, has all the sanitation workers get involved.

Arthur promised to watch "Renegade Joe" with Buster, but D.W. persuades Arthur to help her look for her blankie, and D.W. has a lot of crazy theories about what happened to it./'Arthur's Substitute Teacher Trouble': Mr. Ratburn gets sick and his sister Ms. Ratburn is the substitute teacher. The students think that she'll be tough like Mr. Ratburn, but it turns out that she is an easy teacher.
- 1996–202226mTV-Y7.7 (62)TV Episode'I'm a Poet': Fern is the only student to sign up for the poetry contest. She bets all the other kids that they can't write a poem, and the kids are up to the challenge./'The Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club!': Kids are waiting in line at the library for the latest book in the 'Scare-Your-Pants-Off' series. But an organization called 'PAWS': Parents Against Weird Stories, wants to ban the books. So Arthur and his friends decide to make petitions to keep the books.
- 'My Club Rules!': The Strawberry Festival is coming to Elwood City, and the kids have ideas for parade floats. When curious D.W. climbs up the treehouse, the kids tell her that they belong to a parade float club and that she can't join. After Muffy says that the treehouse needs fixing up and insists that everyone pays dues, the kids decide to form their own clubs./'Stolen Bike': Francine is embarrassed that her bike is old while everyone else has a new bike. After getting rid of it, she tells everyone that it was stolen.
- 'My Dad, the Garbage Man': Mr. Ratburn's class has been learning about careers. Muffy's dad, Brain's mom, and Francine's dad have offered to show the class what their jobs are like. But Francine is worried what will happen when the other kids learn that her dad is a garbage man./'Poor Muffy': Muffy is allergic to the new rugs in her house. Francine suggests that Muffy stay at her apartment until all the carpet is taken out. While staying at the Frenskys', Muffy complains about only getting three TV channels, eating leftovers, and not being allowed to play her music really loud.

But, of course, she's not invited, so D.W. decides to pull a prank on them./'Arthur's New Years Eve': For the past few years, Arthur kept on trying to stay up until midnight for the new year, but he always fell asleep. This year he decides to not stay up at all, until his friends tell him what happens every year. But they all have different stories.

"Play It Again, D.W.": D.W. listens to her "Crazy Bus" CD all the time, and Arthur is tired of hearing that song. The Read family attends "Crazy Bus Live," and Arthur is embarrassed. When D.W. discovers that her "Crazy Bus" is missing, she accuses Arthur.

Arthur's Mystery Envelope: When Mr. Haney gives Arthur a sealed envelope to bring home to Mom, Arthur fears the worst. (His friends are only too eager to help him imagine what "the worst" might be.) Is Arthur being sentenced to summer school? Does he HAVE to give the envelope to Mom, or could he just sort of... misplace it?

Although the contest improves their vocabulary, the endless name-calling becomes, well, deleterious. Finders Key-Pers: Arthur, Brain, and Binky find a key--but to what? The city? The new science museum? A brand new sports car? And which of them will get to keep whatever fabulous thing they find!? When they decide to split it 50-50-50 the trouble really begins!
