- Four Navy SEAL veterans visit the site of the bloodiest day in U.S. Naval Special Warfare history. Following in the bootsteps of their forefathers, they pay homage to the fallen as they attempt to better understand the events of June 6, 1944. What do the sacrifices made here say about their own service? How does it inform their lives and the legacy they hope to leave?
- Modern industrialization is no longer about steam power, ocean ships, and railways. It's about herd immunization, the mass drugging of our population, and the industrialized production of cheap, storable food. We've ended up with an entire society getting sicker and sicker while the industrial powers get richer and richer. What were once considered farfetched conspiracy theories are now being shown to be stark irrefutable realities. Serious illnesses have been on a steep incline since the number of mandated vaccines has skyrocketed (starting with infants within their first hours of life) coupled with the advent of GMO foods since the mid 1990's. But if anyone dares question these remarkable correlations then they are labeled anti-science and ignorant. We used to brag that we had the most remarkable healthcare system in the world, the last example of a great private healthcare system. Now we are waking up to the fact that we don't have a private system, we have a pharmaceuticalized system and it has created the sickest species ever to inhabit this earth...our children. Your food, your health, your family's health has been Bought.

- Seed is the story of 40-something Francis Seed who is on a journey to find peace within himself in his last days on earth. We are never told what he is dying of, but we get the sense that it is of his own unhappiness. Mr. Seed's parents are no longer alive; he has no family of his own and he is so focused on his impending death that he's forgotten how to live. Throughout the course of the film, the protagonist meets people whom he looks to for answers and advice. The scattered meetings are edited together like a collage and what unfolds is real life, unscripted stories as told by real people in light of Mr. Seed's fictional dilemma. A junkie who gets clean, a stroke survivor, a liberal rabbi, a band leader named "Dethy," an old black man named Simon and a transvestite who has survived the AIDS epidemic are just some of the characters who color the film. The result is a reaffirmation of life for Mr. Seed, who realizes that it's not too late to start living.

- In 1998, puppeteer Basil Twist debuted his boundary-breaking response to Berlioz's 1830 "Symphonie Fantastique" to universal acclaim. In the two decades since this New York premiere, Twist has become an internationally recognized artist in opera, ballet, and on Broadway, and has won countless awards including the illustrious MacArthur Fellowship. In 2018 Twist revisited his legendary masterpiece in its original home, the HERE Arts Center in NYC with live accompaniment by the virtuosic Christopher O'Riley playing the exquisite Liszt transcription for concert piano and in a significantly larger aquarium. Symphonie floated and swirled for a critically lauded and sold-out six-month run, fortunately allowing the finest performances to be captured in front of, behind, and inside the 1,000-gallon water tank by Twist and with the help of past collaborator Bobby Sheehan of Working Pictures. Soon after, while on a Rome Prize fellowship, Twist was blessed to collaborate with master Italian film artisans to edit and refine the definitive filmed version of this iconic theatrical experience. The resulting film is not just a document of a performance but rather an artistic expression in its own right. It weaves imagery as seen by the audience with the unseen backstage ballet of the puppeteers and the emotional synergy of the live musical performance. The film's World premiere was at the 2019 World Puppetry Festival in Charleville Mezieres, France where Twist was the guest of honor. This is Basil Twist's first full length film. Created by Basil Twist Featuring pianist Christopher O'Riley Puppeteers: Kate Brehm, Ben Elling, Andy Gaukel, Jonothon Lyons, Rachel Shane, Lake Simons, and Patrick Newton Lighting Design by Andrew Hill The stage production was originally presented by HERE's Dream Music Puppetry Program (New York) in 1998 and again in 2018 celebrating its 20th Anniversary.
