- The Late show, which only ran for two years was one of the most successful and funny comedy shows ever produced and shown in Australia. It marked the re-grouping of the D-Generation, a comedy group from the late 80's. From the LIVE late night comedy show, came classic moments such as Shitscared, Charlie the wonder dog, The Oz brothers and heaps of other 'Champagne Comedy'.
- Bargearse was spawn from the hit TV show, The Late Show (1992). It was originally titled Bluey (1976) and made in the 70's. It was then re-edited, re-recorded with new lines and given a new name.
- The Australian goldfields period drama Rush (1974) was given The Late Show (1992) treatment with a slick re-editing and re-voicing which produced absurd plotlines, strange characters and 'Stupid Hat Day' on the goldfields. 'The Olden Days' originally appeared as 20 three-minute stand-alone short segments in The Late Show (1992), and were later strung together and released on video.
- In the tradition of My Dinner with Andre (1981) and Andy Kaufman's My Breakfast with Blassie (1983), Billy's Shout preserves on film a bizarre yet informative summit meeting between legendary wild man Ozzy Osbourne and Australia's own "Boofhead of Rock" Billy Pinnell - at the Ace Snack Bar in Punt Rd, Melbourne.
