Jupiter's Legacy (2021)
Typical modern formula with a twist
The reason I gave this such a good score is because the writing was done so well as a series, and it really makes one think..... which is a rarity nowadays, there's way too much sensationalized, teen angst and typical teenagers and bad kids in just about every everything. Sure it appeals to teens, and teens have their parents money to spend, but this is supposed to be an art form or rather a collection of art forms. Depicting a teen who's a drug addict and Alalcoholic , is promiscuous. Has the finest taste in everything except personality but in spite of all this, which type of behavior would literally fry somebody within a few months for the rest of their life, she is super rich and's and is full of goth 1985 teen angst formula just gets so stale. I feel the same way about gratuitous violence in TV shows and movies currently if there is good, it's a good story, that's well written and acted, then you don't need gratuitous violence. All that stuff does is feed the gaming community, or the gaming generation whatever it's called. " look at me look at me, I'm so wasted.! Let's go buy another Rolls-Royce or a Ferrari or something and crash it and laugh at parents disrespectfully when we how mad our dumb parents get!" So stale.
On a lighter note, this is a thinking person's story. This is no bang bang shoot them up something that you can have on in the background while you carry on a conversation... You really have to pay attention, and come out with your own opinion of the views, that they depict, which are actually really good subject matter. It has philosophical aspects, mythological aspects, historical, futuristic, as well as societal issues and fantasy all rolled up in one.
Happily N'Ever After (2006)
Couldn't even finish watching
I can't recall the last time I turned off a movie 25 minutes into it, but this was so terrible I couldn't take another second of the shoddy attempts at what is some very basic, yet poorly executed humor.
