Monk: Mr. Monk Goes Back to School (2003)
Season 2, Episode 1

Wrong, just wrong
31 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, in this episode, Monk corrects an english teacher's grammar. The teacher had supposedly addressed her suicide note by addressing it to whomever I may have hurt. Monk claims it should have read to whoever I may have hurt. He is incorrect whomever should be used here, as "I may have hurt" is objective case.

Next, Monk knowing who did just 5 minutes after meeting the man comes across more as vindictive ( the two had clashed over Monk put caffeinated coffee in the de-caffeinated 'to make them even ') even the wisest most seasoned detective would need a little time to review.

In the first season, viewers are given the option to skip the title song. Starting with the second season, however, we are no longer given that option and we are stuck with the most mind numbing, annoying title song ever (written and performed by the majorly un-talented Randy Newman. In a later episode, a crazy, obsessed fan makes a point of living a shows original theme song.

The point is clear . Only crazies like the original song.

That's all! I'm done!

We don't have a name for him!!!

Warning: Spoilers
How do the lone gunmen find out all this information when we don't even have an alias for two more seasons! I don't mind as others do, that he is associated with the death of JFK and MLK, but, I can't get my head around this simple fact that the requisite research can't be done without certain basic facts, like a name! Maybe I'm taking this too seriously, but, the tone of the episode wasn't humorous like some of them are, so, I'm back at this annoying lack of common sense. I love this show. I especially love the creativity and heart that is so evident throughout. I don't need to know this man's name, but, something needs to make sense!

Miss Marple Seasons 4-6

Julia M. is brilliant as Miss Marple Why though is just every episode a syrupy love story and a lost child found story Every episode seems to feature some out of wedlock child born and desperate love. It all gets rather old

Gross and not scary

If the intent of the people responsible for this was to make people puke from disgust, then mission accomplished! I think maybe this was an attempt at humor for those who find fat jokes amusing. I didn't even finish it.

Warning: Spoilers
This was so predictable and frankly rather amateurish in style. It was below the fine actors involved IMO. It so easy to spot that we weren't looking at a women in the raincoat and sunglasses. And the shrink was the only one left with any interest to be her killer
