Support cast awesome
15 January 2024
Stephanie Kramer's accent keep jumping the sea between Ireland and Scotland. I don't know who told her it was a good Irish accent or anyone on the set had even heard an Irish accent outside of a lucky charms commercial.

The dude from porkys is in it. George Conley is in it. And bevy of other 80's actors you have long forgotten about.

A few goofs like the same decanter being used at two different hotel rooms. It's fun to see some of old crappy cars we used to drive or heaven forbid buy. Lots of shoulder pads. So many shoulder pads. And vellore.

This series is always good fun and not to be taken seriously.

Disjointed

Good cast.

Good acting.

The story is very choppy. Skipping over many years. Skipping over many details. A little too artsy for my taste. Too fartsy as well.

The story is so out of whack. The script stays on two characters too long and skips over two main characters, doesn't even mention RFK at all. No mention of her first husband. From 8 years old to adult. No teenage years.

It's almost 3 hours long as well. In that time frame they should have been able to tell her story a lot better. Even after being gone 60+ years Marilyn Monroe is such an icon in pop culture.

Sometimes it felt like the movie was being weird just for the sake of being weird.

Performers good.

Story not good.

Disjointed
23 July 2023
It's almost like the action and story started 20 minutes before the movie does.

Like the edited out the beginning of the movie.

Assuming all of us had read the book or seen the previous movie.

The editing is very choppy.

The cast is good. Tom cruise is wooden. The weakest link.

The supporting cast is terrible like they got acting lessons from Tom Cruise.

All in all not a good movie. Hopefully you get to see it for free rather than renting it for a fee or god forbid you buy the dvd.

The story itself is average at best.

The wardrobe person must have quit half way through the movie because everyone wearing blue pants was wearing the wrong size pants.

As the movie progresses the acting gets worse.

I didn't get it.
17 September 2022
Heard some wonderful things about the movie. The trailer looked good. Some star power behind the film. A couple of lesser knowns thrown in to round out the cast. Started the movie with a big bowl of popcorn and cold drink. Then waited for the movie to start. About an hour in I felt the movie was a little slow and the adventure would begin. At 90 minutes I had resigned that this movie wasn't really for me but I was vested into the movie and wanted to finish it just cause the ending was what made this movie so good. Still waiting. Those who love it; love it. Those who don't; didn't. I didn't get it. Napoleon dynamite for a new generation? Didn't get that one either.

I am 70
10 June 2022
Black light Terrible. Liam Nesson shouldn't be doing these action films anymore.

He's pushing 70. Even his character in the film is 70.

Woke BS from the start to the end.

The government is killing its citizens. The FBI covers it up. Liam Nesson cleans up the mess.

The reporter is portrayed as being pretty stupid. The woman who answers the phones at the newspaper has more journalist skills than she does.

It's like this movie was written via Twitter.

If you like liberal BS with a slightly happy ending; watch it. The rest of us will watch paint dry as it more entertaining.

Bored to death on the Nile
11 February 2022
Another Hollywood blowhard movie. Let's have the audience decide what a classic is rather than the critics.

Made 40 years too late. It's the type of movie that would be made a movie of the week during the 70's.

Uninteresting characters in a uninteresting movie.

Another crappy Christmas movie

This one no we only gets 3 stars for being set in Vegas. Even though it's shot in Vancouver/Burnaby/Surrey. The extra two stars are for the smoke show lead actress.

Bloated Crap
2 July 2021
97 % on rotten tomatoes? This was bloated crap the second Daniel Craig makes an appearance. Over acting and under whelming performances. The bad actors are made out to be good and the good actors mail in their performances. Agatha Christie is rolling in her grave.

My wife liked it. So not my cup of tea.

Less Woke Less Jokes
15 March 2021
Way too much trying to be woke. I guess the irony was lost on the screenwriters. Just what is the appeal of Tracy Morgan? It's the same act since SNL; it wore off in 1988. And not everyone wants to be American.

Too many cut aways to the original movie. Old story, new actors, dumb product placement.

Maybe the build up to the sequel was too much and we expected something good and funny. This was neither.

007 helps Start Isis
31 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
James Bond has the afaganie freedom fighters against the Russians. These guys go on to start Isis. They get pretty upset at James Bond'a girlfriend that they vow that once they reach heaven it's only virgins for them. That's hold annoying she is. Plus she plus the cello. It's still a better film that any of the Roger Moore James Bond films.

Skimming Stone of Action Films
31 December 2020
What could have been great action film with a great female lead turns into a film that just skims the surface of a good film. Should have been 30 minutes longer to dig into a few different areas like the sister's relationship, the whole killer for hire corporate system, but instead it just skims the surface and ends with too many questions left unanswered.

Typical Canadian Crap
7 November 2020
Had high hopes for the show. Quickly turns into typical Canadian crap. Over acting, under acting, tough guys wearing sunglasses, rich guys with supercuts haircuts. Tried to be goodfellas North, quickly turns into goof fellas. Skip the show not worth effort.

It's not good
14 October 2020
Robert DeNiro's last 20 years of movies have been terrible. Don't know who's picking his projects these days; dart board. Typical family film.

The ending is less than good. It just ends like they needed to keep the movie under 95 minutes.

Netflix or less. Don't pay for this movie.

Seasons one and two are great....
30 September 2020
Very funny series. First two seasons are funny. The final season is terrible. It knocks a couple of stars off my rating. How bad is the final season? All woke no joke. Joe Buck is worth a star by himself. 9 stars for season one and two. -3 stars fir the final season 1 star for Joe Buck.

Started good then...
18 July 2020
It started off very good. Stylish, edgy, smooth. Tackled some interesting cases. The characters get one dimensional very quickly. The drama gets to be too girly. Lots of lines the male lawyers use that no man has very said in is heterosexual life are used. Enough to keep men interested and enough drama to keep the women watching.

Could have been better
11 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I went into this completely blind. I liked the period piece stuff from the 30's. Mix in some history. Add a little drama to make the story personal. The supernatural stuff is in there and that's fine, again I was blind going into it all. Apparently that's part of it all. 10 episodes. Not all were as good as the next. That's ebbs and flows. My lower rating stems from the Hollywood BS they seem to need to add to everything these days. The liberal Hollywood crap has to stop. It's killing good entertainment. At one point in this show the storyline was blaming all white men for the evils of mankind and the root of all evil. White cops are the worst and this thing has nazis in it! They even added the premise that if you liked the guy who invented nukes that it would stop all thing nuclear. Period piece rating 9. Acting and basic storyline rating 9. Super natural stuff 5 Dropping modern day lifestyle choices into the period piece: 2 Liberal Hollywood BS: -7

Perry Mason seems to be better choice for this time frame. One of the sub stories overlap too.

Great first couple of season BUT
1 July 2020
I wanted to like the show right off the start. I dam into the show a little late but thanks to being able binge watching, I got catch up in no time. First couple of seasons were great. Just enough drama mixed with some real funny moments. During season 3, they mixed in some social justice issues. Played well, but you knew what was coming in season four. Full court press of Hollywood liberal BS. Season 5 is terrible. The time lines between seasons 1-3 are fine but between season 4-5 aren't explained. Season 5 is only 8 episodes long and they skimmed over some character issues, dived into areas than made no sense. Wrapped up some items forgot about others.

Good story line. Interesting story. I can't figure out why Jack Black gets work. He is terrible. He plays the character. The mugging for the camera ruins every movie he's in.

Great series. But
30 May 2020
This show was great. Lots of very interesting story lines. One of the best things on tv. Until William Peterson leaves the show. It goes downhill fast. But the time Ted Danson joins the cast, it's over; jumped the shark. Well worth catching in reruns. Holds up well.

It's everything you wanted but funny
30 May 2020
John Malkovich is very funny in this. I knew he could do comedy from SNL. Space Forced is accurate title. It's everything but funny. The cast is good but everyone except Malkovich plays the same character they have before. Steve Carnell isn't good. He's trying to play the straight man when he's the comic foil. Could have been better. Should have been better. The writing is good. The performances are good but it seems everyone showed up to make a funny show and no one connects with each other. Very choppy. Zero chemistry among the cast.

Worst movie of 2020
13 April 2020
Got a excited about the cast but it's a truly horrible movie. Over top swearing, violence for the sake of violence. Racist comments for shock value. 12 jokes spread over 94 minutes. Could have been good but far from it. I would have given 1 star but the movie I gave it was the worst movie I had ever watched a part of. You'll thank me for the 90 minutes of your life I saved you from watching this train wreck.

Not good. Story falls apart
15 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Fred is an investigative report at the beginning of the movie who turns into a speech writer. But didn't realize his best friend was a republican and his girl friend was one too. His BFF is also a Christian. All of which are a surprise to him. Seth Rogan plays a jewish guy who likes to get high; what a stretch. A few laughs here and there, terrible liberal undertone.

Could have been good. Good cast. Seemed to have a bunch of funny bits of a script but it's missing a bunch of storyline. It's almost like they made it up as they went along.

This maybe the worst thing you will see.
7 September 2018
I only got about 10 minutes into the films before turning it off. It looks like it was filmed with a super 8 camera. All of the dialogue is over dubbed. Lots of B roll for the non acting scenes. It maybe the worst thing I have ever watched. If you like porn style acting from actors who may or may not be aware of that the cameras are even rolling; then movie is stellar. I'm sitting in my chair right now wishing I had one of those flash pens they used in men in black so that I zap myself and forget I ever saw this load of crap. If I could I would rate it lower.
