Zombie Apocalypse (2011 TV Movie)
Eh
30 October 2011
It wasn't ALL bad. The Walking Dead is much better. This movie should be watched with many friends. And beer. Lots of it. Turn it into a drinking game. Every zombie that dies, drink. A person says 'zombie', drink. Etc etc.... Plus Crabman from 'My Name is Earl' is in it, he's cool. Ving wasn't bad either. They need some lore work, but not too bad. The acting wasn't bad, they won't win any awards, but it is OK.Had some fairly acted scenes. The effects were the typical crap SyFy spits out for their movies.i too, cannot understand how they make great TV like Eureka or Warehouse 13, then poop out this. I'd say if you're bored, or snowed in, sure watch this. Just do not take it too seriously.

I like it

People say this movie sucked, but I disagree. It was a fantasy, who cares if it's not believable? When you enter the theater you're supposed to suspend disbelief, unless you're going to a Michael Moore film. The premise of the story was good, Kevin is a highly underrated actor, he was good as Mariner. And Dennis Hopper just plays an awesome villain. I would recommend this film as a DVD movie night with a bunch of friends, you can hoot and holler all through the film. It's too bad the girl that played Enola had little or no career until Napolean Dynamite. We could use more films like this. Post Armageddon movies make good action movies. Who needs it to be believable or factual? Give me 2 hours where I don't have to think and I'm happy. Kevin got a bad rep for this film then The Postman(which was also good if you ask me!)

Catwoman (2004)

Good film

It wasn't as bad as people say. Hell, Halle Barry in tight leather was worth my $6.50 matinée price. The plot was fine. They stuck as close to the comic version of Catwoman as they could. Halle in tight leather. Good CGI action. Halle in tight leather. Hey, it wasn't as good as Halles performance in Xmen, but Catwoman was a DC comic after all! Can you tell I liked the tight leather outfit? Sharon Stone was a good choice for the protagonist, too bad she wasn't in tight leather outfits as well. The movie wasn't bad, the people who gave it 1's were expecting way too much from a comic book movie. They should go see movies like Ghandi or something. Schindlers list. A comic movie is purely for entertainment and good special effects. That's all you can ask for in a movie who's plot wasn't written to impress the damn Acadamy!

Great film
3 August 2005
This movie was great. Just watched it on Cinemax because there was nothing else on! I laughed my butt off. I liked everything about the movie, the cinematography was great. The cast was well cast. I missed the very first 10 minutes, so I'll have to catch it again. I thought the guy who played Buddy looked like a bigger Mark Wahlberg. All in all, this movie is worth adding to your DVD collection, or if you have the movie stations, just look for it. I was surprised to read here that Spielberg was a producer and decided to keep his name out of the credits. Maybe he wanted the movie to try and gain an audience on its own merits.
