A Stolen Life (1946)
Spoiler. Brilliant acting...flawed ending
Spoiler spoiler.
Always a pleasure to see Bette davis in any venue. This was no exception. Enjoyed the acting, the costumes, and the setting. However the ending seems rushed.
I don't believe that it certainly would turn around the way it was written.
I thought she was going to end up with the artist knowing the truth and her realizing that she was in love with him the entire time.
How Glenn Ford's character would suddenly forgive all and realize he loved her is beyond me. I would have rather been with the dog .
Stilll I enjoyed it.
Gunsmoke: The Pest Hole (1956)
Something you have not seen in any Gunsmoke episode.
Worth watching just to see doc drunk. Totally out of character but a necessary point to the plot.
Gunsmoke: The Big Broad (1956)
Unusual and memorable
Not your typical Gunsmoke. Can't say much more than that or we'll give away the plot but one thing that really irritated me was the Three Musketeers sitting outside of the office and giggling and smirking at the size and demeanor of this so unusual big woman.
The Big Valley: By Fires Unseen (1966)
in 1 review incorrect information
I like this episode very much to see the dynamic among the family.
But to correct one of the reviews. San Francisco is not east of Stockton. But more importantly he said that Victoria was talking about Heath being four years old and sick with pneumonia. She actually said Jared. No reason to give such a low rating saying that there was errors.
