Collateral (2004)
Toms best performance
Hands down Tom Cruises best film, why he never got an Oscar nomination I'll never know, he really needs to play more bad guys. It's a great story with a great cast but Tom is the stand out in my opinion. It was an unexpected film from him and Jamie Foxx and bot are stellar in their roles, never gets boring never gets dull and I didn't recognise Mark Ruffalo at first..but it's totally worth watching even if you're not a fan of any of the actors in this movie. It's tense and has less action than most of Toms other movies but I think that's for the best. Underrated and overlooked should be better remembered.
The Twilight Zone (1985)
80's charm
Obviously not as good as the original but still the best of the reboots, the 2002 was a bit lacking but had a couple good episodes and the 2019 version had too much bad language ( I like swearing but not in TZ ) and I especially like the 80's-ness (fashion, vehicles etc) about this show the special FX don't really hold up but neither do the ones on the original.
The Twilight Zone (2019)
Could've done without the profanity.
I like swearing/gore etc as much as the next guy but TZ really doesn't need it...this just felt it was trying to be more black mirror ( which I love but that's gonna a little down hill ) than twilight zone. Just remake original episodes...it'll annoy us fans of the original but at least younger audiences who won't watch old black and white stuff will see them in a way.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Feels like it was written in 5 minutes.
After watching this I thought I'd like to see Leo and Brad make a movie together with more story and why did I pay to see Margot Robbie briefly watch a movie? I get the sense Tarantino had the chance to put Di caprio and Pitt in the same film and needed to throw a script together asap before they signed on to other projects. I enjoyed it, I'd watch it again but only if it was on tv I wouldn't buy it (unless it was in some sort of QT box set)

The Predator (2018)
It's ok but it's a one time watch.
This felt like Predator trying to be a LITTLE bit Deadpool. The jokes were hit and mostly miss but there are a lot of them. The first act was promising the second was boring the third was ok. It's got plenty of gore but it's mostly cgi ( you can't beat 80s/90s practical gore ) Stick with Predator 1 & 2...I love 2, I don't understand the hate, Predators isn't very memorable because I can't remember anything about it.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Considering what JJ had to deal with after TLJ
Not perfect but you need to remember JJ didn't plan on making this someone else was supposed too he and didn't have long to write it and having to tie up the loose ends Last Jedi left over...I thought he did a pretty good job and Chewie got his medal. You can't please everyone but I was pleased.
Ghostbusters (2016)
Terrible!
I actually gave this a chance after seeing the awful trailer but I thought 'it's just a trailer' but this film is just as bad just watch the original! It's 1000 times funnier and 1000 times better. Watching this is literally wasting 116 minutes of your life.
Envy (2004)
Terrible
I seen this movie on DVD not long after it was released and thought it was odd there was a Jack Black/ Ben Stiller movie I'd never heard of so I bought it, I now know why I'd never heard of it because they disowned it...watched it once and the DVD still sits on my shelf over a decade later ( I really don't know why, I may watch it again someday but I doubt it )
The Trap Door (1984)
Classic
Classic childhood which is still great 30 years later and still has a few scary moments ( jump scares ) and even the odd tear jerking moment. It's just a shame it ended the way it did, the final episodes ending looks bad for Berk and co.
