Madame Web (2024)
Smokey the Bear would be disappointed..
At about 50 minutes into the movie, Cassandra Webb drives Julia, Anya, and Mattie to the woods to keep them safe after being chased by Ezekiel. Cassandra says to them: "You are way safer out here. Just be like a girl scout girl.. 3 hours.. just stay here.. don't do anything dumb.. Seriously, don't do dumb things" ..about 8 minutes later, the girls do the dumbest things a girl scout could do. They all left the woods to get something to eat with a raging campfire still lit as they all walked away.
Smokey the Bear would say: Don't let forest fires be your fault. Make sure your fire is dead out. Remember, only you can prevent forest fires.
Leave the World Behind (2023)
This could really happen..
This film had me rivetted. I kept wondering what is going on, just like all the actors in this film. It was like we were all part of the collective not knowing what was happening. Those deer being attracted to the smell of certain female humans was a dead giveaway that this was a fear based film from a prepper's point of view. There has been an uprise in zombie deer disease in many states. While deer's and buck's are especially attracted to pumpkin seed oil, which could be used in hair products made for women, but we are left to that unknown fact. Deer have been known to flock to the scent of just a couple drops of pumpkin seed oil, even ignoring sounds and visual cues that would normally frighten them. It could just be that our scent in this film was an attractant to the deer, especially if they had zombie deer disease.
The Hunt for Red October (1990)
If you know Russian, this film is a 10
If you know the Russian Language this film is a ten out of ten, because it is so hilarious when Sean Connery and cast speaks the language. For everyone else who doesn't speak Russian, it doesn't matter what they are saying as long as it sounds good. You would think that film producers would try to make it historically correct by having an actual language translator write-in the film script what they need to say and how it needs to be pronounced. However in a lot of films, they are just speaking gibberish and the text in the film is derived from the Cyrillic alphabet but actually doesn't mean anything.
Runaways: The Great Escape (2019)
This scene with Tina Minoru is FIRE FIRE
About six minutes in, this has to be the sexiest scene of Brittany Ishibashi (playing the role of Tina Minoru) has ever done. Might also be the most embarrassing depending on how you look at it zoomed in or on a big screen. OMG, just think if this was on a movie screen! All the fanboys and fangurls will not want to miss this scene, where Tina Minoru is possessed by Jonah's light-being daughter in tight form fitting yoga pants. (If you have young kids watching, you might want to put your hands over their eyes when this scene comes on, especially if you have a big screen tv.) For this, Ms. Ishibashi makes this Season 3 Episode 2 too hot for some, and gets a ten out of ten rating for her contribution.
Runaways: Fifteen (2017)
Chase Stein's car outside Karolina's house
In case you are wondering, Chase Stein's car outside Karolina's house is not a Corvette. It is a gasoline powered street legal race car by Rezvani Motors. The 2018 Rezvani "Beast Alpha" known for it's one of a kind doors called "sidewinder doors," that slide-out and sit parallel to the front wheels giving you more access to get in and out, with the same clearance as regular swing-out doors.
Nancy Drew: The Journey of the Dangerous Mind (2021)
Does Korean American FBI Agent have super powers?
FBI Agent Park kicks down a house entry door finding Nancy Drew Hudson surrounded by pipe bombs. Nancy accidentally triggers them and just before they blow, Agent Park knocks over the table and protects Drew behind it as the bombs go off. On the same side of where Drew and Park fell to the floor, on top of the table was a pipe bomb on each corner. Did Agent Park super fast knock off all 4 bombs before using the table as a protection barrier? Did they suddenly vanish? Or was this a technical blooper...
The Rescue (2021)
Psychic Prediction was correct
Kruba Boonchum, a famous monk, visited the cave where the 13 soccer kids and coach were trapped and assured the public that the kids were alive, but to expect 2 deaths from this rescue. His clairvoyant sight was accurate. We don't know if the rescue team were aware of what Boonchum had said. If they did, it would have made everyone that much more fearful during the whole rescue. In predictions, outcomes can change if you take a different path, especially when you are aware of a future possibility. The not knowing who would fall victim and when is the scary part. This film, with the help of animated images really had me on the edge of my seat, what was going to happen next. Prayers to everyone who volunteered, the kids, and their coach.
The 355 (2022)
Police: worst background actors ever lol
Everything about the movie was good until the police entered the scene. After Graciela Rivera is in shock after shooting someone, gun in hands, raised in front of her in the air, the police barge into the room. The first two cops who come in through the doorway see Ms. Rivera from behind her back, not even seeing the gun in her hand, nor saying anything to her, proceed to pick her up and move her to the side like a piece of furniture. The cop on her right after grabbing her right arm looks at either the gun or her boobs, he didn't react while moving her just continued to look. The cop on her left moving his head fast left and right, left and right. I wondered if he was getting dizzy. He wasn't paying attention to Graciela, nor the fact that she had a gun in her hand. What was he looking at? The one thing actors are not supposed to do is: Don't look at the camera. It looks like Mr. Policeman looked at the camera. After realizing he looked at the camera, not looking at Ms. Rivera, he managed to pick her up and move her while continuing to scan the room.. moving head left right left right.. while Graciela is still holding the gun in her hand. LOL.
Lost in Space: Trust (2021)
The kids are stronger than the adults
There are three scenes in this episode that I found interesting. Two of the teens, who are girls, Penny Robinson and Judy Robinson at the crashed ship that carried the alien engine.. Both girls lifting it are barely able to carry it, almost dragging it slowly because of how heavy it is. In another scene, while the friendly robots are get defeated, Penny and Judy are seen running to a rover with the engine in hand, like it weighs nothing. Is this the power of adrenaline or some super power that we have never seen before? In another scene Maureen Robinson and her husband, John Robinson both manually lifting and transporting it to one of the land rovers, John struggles to lift it into the rover.. Arrrrg, he moans as he lifts it into the transport vehicle. How is this possible? Heavy, then lite, then heavy again?
Lost in Space: Final Transmission (2021)
New Character reveal, Carl
This is one of the funniest episodes involving Don West's pet chicken, Debbie and a new character reveal, Carl, pet named by Penny Robinson. Revealed within the first forty minutes of the Final Transmission episode, Carl is a very long in-grown hair on Will Robinson's face, and is the first hair to grow on his chin marking new adventures of his early adult life. Carl lived there happily until his demise, shortly after Penny introduced him. Unknown how Will attacked Carl leading to his death.
Superman & Lois: Loyal Subjekts (2021)
Lunch bags..
(At around 4 minutes into the film) You know this super family is different because Clark Kent didn't fold the insulated brown paper bag with the ends like an accordion like how most people do. These bags have circular magnetic snaps on the outside to close it, however the boys as seen in this scene are struggling with how to close them. Jordan gives up trying to close it and just slides the whole thing into his backpack. You can tell his brother, Johnathon is the street smart one when he gave up, and just folded it as best he could before putting it in his bag. If the manufacturer sponsored this episode to feature the bags, they might be thankful that it's in it, but must be a little disappointed that they didn't use it like it was designed. Oh well..
The 4400: Weight of the World (2005)
Don't watch the baby..
Around 11 minutes in when Richard, Lily, and baby Isabelle are having lunch with one of the 4400 and friends outside on the farm.. the baby shows us she has another power: super fast speed.. one second she is playing, the next second she is sleeping, etc, etc.. All that flipping back and forth would make me sleepy too.
Smallfoot (2018)
That's Her Favorite Line.. :O
About one hour twenty minutes into the film, Migo says Jen Psaki's (White House Press Secretary) favorite line. What you may ask? Let's circle back..
Batwoman: What Happened to Kate Kane? (2021)
Is Mouse really dead?
At around 40 minutes 30 seconds in when Alice attempts to lay down next to mouse she knocks around his jaw with her head (Ouch!) and he moves. In the last shot before the scene ends, Mouse is smiling lol.
Ripper Street: The Good of This City (2013)
The dead live
Around 37min in, the scene where the dead are being examined, you can easily see the lab blanket rise with each breath as they lay lifeless on the table. LOL.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Missing Pieces (2019)
Cryogenic Chamber
I don't know about you, but that cryogenic chamber looks like a modified Thule cargo rooftop box. When Jemma stands next to it, I wonder if Fitz really was that short to fit in it
Merlin: The Lady of the Lake (2009)
Merlin sets her on fire..
(Spoiler Alert) Right when Merlin puts the Druid girl in the boat, if you look closely, she is breathing. Her chest rises with each breath she takes. Merlin, who I thought was a good person.. scared me when he set her on fire just before episode 9 ends.
