The Flash (2023)
A very visual medium.
Comics are very visual, medium. Historically characters and their costumes may have received a few visual tweaks based on current fashion trends of the moment. Wonder Woman had a skirt, transitioned to boys shorts, transitions to a bathing suit, transitioned very nearly to a thong for a while, etc. But she was always Wonder Woman and always visually recognizable. Later on in her storyline, other characters took on a similar role, and they looked different, but Diana Prince was always Princess Diana. In the last decade, or so, comics have begun to dramatically change costumes. They've also begun to recast original characters. The movies are taking this one step further. If the source material is so wonderful, why change it? If you can truly say you love some thing so much that you want to bring it to the masses, and yet change it so dramatically, did you ever really love the source material?
The Power of the Dog (2021)
Please wake me when the director retires.
Okay, she keeps trying to make films and I sometimes try to watch them. When will either of us learn? Another extremely overrated snoozer with delusions.
Game of Thrones (2011)
Seems very familiar...
Almost like a series of books I read that were phenomenal. Some of the names and places even sound like the ones in the books. It would've been great if someone would've made a TV show or something based on those books.
The Wire (2002)
What language are they speaking?
Some of it almost sounds like English but I can't be sure. Apparently some folks found this entertaining.
The Outsider (2020)
Why buy the book if you're just gonna throw it away?
So, obviously HBO has a near-limitless amount of money to throw away on projects. It just fascinates me that they seem to fall in love with good or great books or ideas, they take (most of) the cast of characters and then toss the remaining book in the (hopefully) recycling bin. If you want to write your own stories, that's great. Otherwise, when invited to play try not to break the other kids' toys.
The Little Mermaid Live! (2019)
Pull out the DVD
Please don't ever do anything like this again.

Watchmen (2019)
Not sure why there are any positive reviews
I can only assume that anyone rating this mess higher than a three has never read anything by Alan Moore.
Game of Thrones: Oathkeeper (2014)
How could you?
I mean, really, how could you? How could you profess to love a work of art so much and then ruin it?
La La Land (2016)
The award for the REAL best picture goes to...
It wasn't an accident, folks. This one was truly the Best Picture.
Captain Marvel (2019)
So bad.
Not the worst possible movie ever but it's so close. The other review I wrote was deleted because I called into question the final rate score as compared to the reviews. I believe the count is intentionally incorrect.
