This is an oater Western plenty of action , hatred , gun-play, an agreeable love story...in a word : emotion ; besides it contains effective action sequences as the Indian raids and lots of crossfires . The picture gets Western action , shootouts , Indian attacks , a love story , and results to be entertaining , but mediocre . It's a medium budget film with passable actors , technicians, production values and ordinary results . Of course , there are ritual shootouts among gunslingers confronting each other in some quick-draw duels in the accepted Western movie fashion . This is a so-so Spaghetti/Snitchzel Western with some moments genuinely entertaining if you can avoid thinking too much . Being realized in the wake of ¨Karl May's Winnetou and Old Surehand¨ series , a lot of movies produced in the sixties by the powerful German company ¨Constantin Films¨ , starred by Pierre Brice , Lex Barker , and Stewart Granger . It stars Brad Harris who hare falls in love for the gorgeousLana Miller (Olga Schoberová , in real life married Brad Harris) . Brad began doing stunt work , in the late 50s he traveled to Europe and he soon found himself working in Musclemen epics such as ¨Sansone¨ , ¨Goliath against the giants¨ , ¨Fury of Hércules¨ and he eventually moved into Spaghetti Western and spy movies . Brad Harris married the beautiful co-starring Olga Schoberová . Olga became the Czech sex-symbol because she was the first beauty from Czechoslovakia to appear on Playboy, and made it on the front cover, too . After winning the leading role in The vengeance of She (1968), Paramount renamed her Olinka Berova . She and Brad Harris have one daughter . Olinka played several films along with his husband Brad , such as "Poppea's Hot Nights" , ¨Formula 1¨ , "Kommissar X¨ or ¨Kill me gently¨ and a Western titled ¨Massacre at Marble City¨ . Secondary cast is formed by some familiar faces from Spaghetti Western such as Joseph Egger , Serge Marquand , Pinkas Braun , Lorenzo Robledo and Ennio Girolami or Thomas Moore , the latter ordinary in Enzo G. Castellari films . And Horst Frank , usually playing bad guys , here he plays a good guy . This one belongs an abundant group of German Westerns or co-productions , usually shot in Germany , Spain or Yugoslavia and habitually starred by some faded American actors , such as : ¨Alla Conquista dell'Arkansas or Conquerors of Arkansas¨ by Paul Martin also starred by Brad Harris , Horst Frank ; ¨Sien Nanten Ihn Gringo¨ (65) by Roy Rowland with Alexandra Stewart ; ¨La Lunga Strada Della Vendetta or Der Letzle Ritt Nach Santa Cruz¨ (64) by Rof Olsen with Edmund Purdom ; ¨7 Donne Per Una Strage¨ by Gianfranco Parolini and Rudolf Zehetgruber with Anne Baxter , ¨Sfida a Glory City¨ (65) by Sheldon Reynols with Lex Barker , ¨Last Mohican¨ (1965) by Harald Reinl and ¨Massacre at Condor Pass¨ (1976) by Peter Schamoni with Stephen Boyd .
The picture displays a resounding and inappropriate musical score by Gert Wilden . Colorful Cinematography by Hans Jura , shot in Manzanares Del Real , La Pedriza , Madrid surroundings and Bavaria studios , Munich . The picture was middlingly directed by Ernst Hofbauer (1925-1984) , a craftsman who directed all kind of genres , Eurospies : "The Mystery of Three Junks" , "Women for Sale" , and Krimis : "Tim Frazer Contra Mr. X" , Comedies , an erotic biography about Rasputín and especially ¨Schulmadchen reports¨ movies .
This historical flick set in Amazon rainforest, 1538 , results to be a slow-moving and interesting film that contains epic events , impressive battles , thrills , betrayals , violence and wonderful scenarios in which take place the death clashes in a neverending search for a city built with gold similar to El Dorado . The picture has been criticized for its plodding plot in which emerges a strong rivalry and hate among the violent adventurers , with several moments of tension where the travelers must survive the crises of jungle life and human frailty . Good performance from a great main cast as Raúl Arévalo , Bárbara Lennie , Oscar Jaenada José Coronado .It contains an atmospheric and evocative musical score Javier Limón . Colorful but dark cinematography by the great cameraman Paco Femina . The plot bears remarkable resemblance to classic ¨Aguirre¨ by Werner Herzog with Klaus Kinski and in 1988 was realized another version titled ¨El Dorado¨ by Carlos Saura ; because of a similarity in plot and characters, the movie suffers by comparison but stands on its own as a less fantastic version of the same travel of obsessed adventurers .
Agustin Diaz Yanes' return to top form , with an intelligent and engaging script which uses exciting situations to give us a good movie in slow pacing , engaging as well as violent events , plot twists and that kept me entertained for the almost 110 minutes of duration . Diaz Yanes is a fine craftsman , thanks to his reputation as screenwriter and the support of Victoria Abril he was able to set up his first film as director: "Nobody Will Speak of Us When We're Dead " that became the greatest hit of Spanish cinema at its release in 1995 and the Festival San Sebastian , including best actress to Victoria Abril . Yanes subsequently directed the successful ¨Alatriste¨ , "Don't Tempt Me" and ¨Solo Quiero Caminar¨ that failed at Spanish box office
Good and colorful rendition based on the famous novel with emotional highs and lows , in which Edmond Dantes is unjustly sent to prison for 18 years , with the help of another prisoner he escapes to reclaim his fiancée Mercedes , the gorgeous Ornella Muti , and revenge against Montego and other contenders . A fine but overlong remake of the Alexander Dumas tale by the same name . In the film there are adventures , action , love stories , derring-do and results to be pretty amusing . Although runtime movie is approx. 400 min and some ; it is neither tiring , nor boring but entertaining . Cast is frankly well . Gerard Depardieu interpretation is first-rate . Jean Rochefort plays correctly the evil villain Montego and Ornella Muti is wonderful as the fiancée , now married to Montego . Riveting Georges Mustaki in brief appearances as Abbe Faria , he makes a phenomenal acting . It packs a shining and glimmer cinematography by Willy Stassen . And an emotive and evocative musical score by Bruno Coulais with superb leitmotif . This splendid TV series was well directed by Josée Dayan . The flick will appeal to adventures buffs and emotions lovers . Rating : 7/10 . Good , better than average . Well worth watching .

A Spanish superproduction dealing with the wildest freak-out in Vegas history , including all-star-cast about a spectacular robbing on an armored truck . Being based on a novel titled The men of Las Vegas written by French author called Andre Lay , and being exhibited within a year of the book was published. The main cast is top-notch with the most famous actors by the time as Gary Lockwood, Jack Palance, Lee J Cobb and Elke Sommer . Support cast is pretty good , plenty of familiar Spanish faces as Gustavo Re , Enrique Ávila, Daniel Martín , Fernando Hilbeck , Jorge Rigaud , Ruben Rojo , Luis Barboo, Antonio Casas , Carlos Ballesteros, among others. And brief intervention from Roger Hanin , Georges Geret and Jean Servais.
Colorful cinematography by Juan Gelpi , shot on gorgeous locations , though the Nevada desert was actually shot in desert of Tabernas, Andalucia, where during the sixties and seventies had been filmed lots of Spaghetti Paella Westerns.Evocative and catching musical score by George Garvarentz in the sixties style . The motion picture was professionally directed by Antonio Isasi Isasmendi. Recently deceased Antonio was a craftsman who made a lot of successful films. As he directed El Perro ,Un Verano Para Matar , Monstruos Del Terror , Mask Scaramouche and his greatest hit was Istanbul 65. He directed great International stars as Karl Malden , Olivia Hussey , Jack Palance, Jason Miller , Lea Massari , Gary Lockwood ,and Lee J Cobb
This splendid series packs thrills , adventures , including mystery , twisted plots and full of action packed fighting . The series formed by 91 episodes with 5 seasons and with its fifth season becoming its final season , beginning October 28, 2011, and ending on January 27, 2012, with a two hour finale . The main premise is the following : an ordinary underdog guy named Chuck gets an email from his old college friend Bryce Larkin he opens it to see a series of pictures called the intersect which has all of the governments most vital secrets ; as Chuck has to find a way to save the day , using the intersect of course but sometimes the help of friends . Zachary Levi gives a very good and sympathetic interpretation as a computer nerd for the Buy More who discovers dark secrets when inadvertently downloads critical government information turning his life upside down . In spite of the successful series Zachary Levi has played a mediocre career as Television : Heroes Reborn , Deadbeat , Falling for You , Let it go , Tiny commando and Cinema he played Fandral in Thor : The Dark World (2013) . Two agents are assigned to guard Chuk , Yvonne Strahovski as Sarah and Adam Baldwin as John Casey , both of whom often get involved with him in spy adventures . Zachari Levi/Chuck creates a stunning chemical with his colleague the gorgeous Yvonne Strahovski as Sarah and both of whom fall in love . Support cast is frankly well , filled with familiar faces such as : Christopher Lloyd , Brandon Routh , Kristen Krouk , Tony Todd , Bruce Boxleiner ,Rachel Bilson , Robin Givens , Chevy Chase , Dolph Lundgren , Summer Glau , Ray Wise , Linda Hamilton as Chuck's mom and Gary Cole as Sarah's dad and several others ; besides , Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay had recurring roles . Natalie Martinez intervened in various episodes as well as Jordana Brewstwer as Chuch's first girlfriend . And Bonita Friedericy as General Beckman after appearing in the vast majority of episodes from seasons one through three , was finally made a regular cast member in season four . The series was well directed by a nice assortment of filmmakers such as : Robert Duncan McNeill , Jay Chandrasekhar , Jeremiah S. Chechik , Michael Schultz , Patrick Norris , Paul Marks , Norman Buckley and Zachary Levi himself directed 3 episodes (2010-2011) .
Western action , an agreeable story in ¨Howard Hawks' Rio Bravo¨ wake , shoot-outs at regular intervals , and explosion abound in this decent film whose characters are well portrayed . Enjoyable Ravioli Western that didn't impress critics at the time but its reputation has improved over the years and , nowadays , it is considered to be one of the Corbucci best-regarded . Director Corbucci made various Westerns who quickly became one of the more prolific filmmakers in the genre and here's one of the most unknown ; in addition , this adequate production delivers what it should . Realized between ¨Franco Nero's Django¨ (1966) this ultra-violent masterpiece not only signaled a move toward an even grittier as well as more nihilistic brand of Western , and the pretty good ¨Burt Reynolds' Navajo Joe¨ , both of them brought an entirely new level of stylization to the genre . Stars Mark Damon who carries likable acting on his brawny shoulders and perfectly does . It is a decent Western with a lot of blow-up , plenty of shoot'em up , gun-play and some moments results to be quite entertaining . The picture is finely starred by Mark Damon who wants to get his mitts on a crooks' gold , along with Ettore Manni as an upright sheriff . At the beginning his career , Damon starred as an extra for American films , and , subsequently , performing secondary roles and Roger Corman films . Mark , then emigrated to Italy and he once reportedly missed out on a role in a Franco Nero western because his height made Franco Nero look too short . As he performed several Pasta Westerns , such as "Un Treno Per Durango" , "Cry for Revenge" , ¨Requiescant¨, ¨Johnny Yuma¨ . Soon moved into other film genres playing good guys , bad guys , and good-bad guys and interpreting adventure movies as "Lions of St. Petersburg" , ¨Normand sword¨, and "Long Live Robin Hood" ; these parts often exploited his athletic physique by having him remove his shirt . Co-starred by Ettore Manni who also interpreted some Westerns and adventures . Support cast is pretty good , such as : Franco De Rosa , Valeria Fabrizi , Loris Loddi , Andrea Aureli , John Bartha , Fortunato Arena and Giovanni Cianfriglia or Ken Wood as Indio Sebastian .
Emotive as well as thrilling musical score by Carlos Savina in Ennio Morricone style , this soundtrack is one of the best parts of the film , plenty of catching and attractive sounds . The orchestra , mostly playing by trumpets , whistles , flute , and guitar music set the proper tone for a western . Colorful and evocative cinematography by Riccardo Pallottini shot in Manzanares del Real , La Pedriza , Madrid and Castello di Rota, Tolfa, Roma, Lazio, and Elios Studios, Rome, Lazio, Italy . Sergio Corbucci's direction is well crafted , here he's less cynical and humorous and more inclined toward violence and too much action , though the character played by Mark Damonn gives hilarious and sympathetic touches , other Westerns he filmed contained broad comedy Spaghetti Western . His great hit was ¨Django¨, this picture established a lasting relationship between Corbucci and the film's star, Franco Nero . After this success , Corbucci embarked on a trail of directing more Western films . His subsequent Spaghetti Westerns , Hellbenders (1967) and Navajo Joe were filmed and released in quick succession to get a great success in Italy . His next Western was The Great Silence (1968) which referred as an "anti-Western" . Next Western film was The Mercenary (1968) , which would began his semi-genre with what he called the "Zapata-Spaghetti Westerns" , proletarian fables in Mexican sets , where the bad guys are on the right and the good guys are on the left ; along with ¨What Am I Doing in the Middle of the Revolution¨ (1972) that is almost a parody of his Zapata Westerns . By setting the story in Mexico and fleshing out his characters with political awareness , Corbucci's intent became more clear and his political statements became more explicit . After directing the semi-successful The specialist (1969) with recently deceased Johnny Halliday and the hero moving through cold rather then heat and fighting in the mud and snow rather then sweat and dust ; later on , Corbucci re-teamed up with Franco Nero again with Los Compañeros . During the 1970s Corbucci made three more Westerns , but the popularity of the genre began to die out . Of the three , only Sonny and Jed (1972) stands out as one of the best late series genre Westerns , though it was not well received . While The white the yellow an the black (1975) is married by racial stereotypes and an excessive parody .
David Suchet stars once more as ace Belgian detective in this enjoyable Agatha Christie mystery/whodunit with excellent pieces of scene-settings , and Poirot solving the murder of a shrewish actress at a spa . The film is a detective story in which you are the detective . Although there are not enough murder ; however , filmmaker sustains interest for the most avid Agatha Christie fans . In this episode there is mystery , emotion , suspense , wonderful outdoors and actors' interpretations are first-rate . The pairing of Poirot/Suchet and Hastings/Hugh Fraser gives top-notch fruits . And the arguments and discussions among suspects provide some delightful moments played by the accumulated talents of a fine support cast . After the clues have been shown we will get a chance to give the answer with Poirot finding out about the culprit at a twisted finale with outstanding surprises , but are taken the murders from different viewpoints of everyone , which it makes a little bit tiring and overlong . . Interesting plot well adapted , adding gorgeous locations and shot at a luxury hotel where Agatha Christie wrote the book "Evil Under the Sun" . The location is important , the island should be a star , just as the Nile steamer ¨Death on the Nile¨ and the Orient Express in the ¨Murder on the Orient Express¨ were stars . The movie gets a lush costume design and adequate production design . Along with colorful and sunny cinematography , being filmed on Burgh Island , Devon and including a sensitive and atmospheric musical score . Magnificent performances from a nice cast , a number of the cast had appeared in other Miss Marple chapters and Agatha Christie movies . This film was professionally directed by Brian Farnham who made a lot of episodes . The flick will appeal to suspense lovers and Agatha Christie-Poirot novels buffs
This series ¨Hercule Poirot¨ formed by 70 episodes stars the great David Suchet , usually accompanied by Hugh Fraser as Captain Hastings , Philip Jackson as Chief Inspector Japp and Pauline Moran as Miss Lemon . Splendid series in which David Suchet gives a fantastic acting similarly to Peter Ustinov . Suchet and Ustinov acting is similar to Albert Finney from ¨Murder on the Orient Express¨ . Ustinov starred various Hercule Poirot films, such as : ¨Evil under the sun¨ by Guy Hamilton with Jane Birkin , Nicholas Clay , Maggie Smith , Roddy McDowall ,Colyn Blakely , Sylvia Miles , James Mason , Denis Quilley , Diana Rigg ; it was made and released about forty-one years after Agatha Christie's source novel of the same name was first published in 1941 , being selected to be the 1982 Royal Film Performance , this movie was the first ever filmed version of this story, it being remade with ¨Poirot: Evil Under the Sun¨ (2001) with David Suchet . And ¨Death on the Nile¨ by John Guillermin with Lois Chiles , Bette Davis , Mia Farrow , Jon Finch , Olivia Hussey , I.S. Johar , George Kennedy , Angela Lansbury , Simon MacCorkindale, David Niven . And ¨Appointment with death¨ (1988) by Michael Winner with Piper Laurie , Lauren Bacall , John Gielgud , David Soul , Carrie Fisher , Jenny Seagrove . And for TV in low budget as : ¨Murder in three acts¨ ,¨Dead man's folly¨ and ¨Thirteen at dinner¨ ; but the best considered turn out to be ¨Death on the Nile¨ and ¨Evil under the sun¨ .
It is a moving western with breathtaking showdown between the stoic starring Anthony Ghidra and his enemy Robert Hundar . Regular Spaghetti Western about a simple and plain plot , as two avaricious outlaws compete with each other over a treasure . As duo protagonists take on themselves , crossfire , fist-fight , to attempt to find the Mexican Army treasure . This movie is a bawdy , plenty of action Western , about ambition and greed , a dark and sinister subject one might expect from a typical Spaghetti , being more a story of ambitious people than about avenger gunslingers seeking revenge . The story is one of those in which everyone double crosses one another in the search for gold , as a great number of betrayals while hunting the fabulous treasure . It is typical , so-so film , but acceptable . There is a twist at the end , but I saw it coming about 10 minutes into the movie.
Stars the serious Anthony Ghidra , he is fine , he ravages the screen , he jumps, shoots in the forehead , bounds and leaps , hits and runs ; besides receiving violent punches , kicks , lashes . It is a serviceable as well as misogynist Spaghetti which doesn't take itself too seriously . This regular spaghetti packs thrills , brawls , shoot'em up , go riding throughout the inappropriate landscapes posing as Far West and results to be quite violent . There are pursuits , attacks , crossfire , fights , heinous cutthroats , and many others things . The acting seems about average for a Eurowestern . It stars a tough and quite gunslinger played in stoicism style by Dragomir Bojanic-Gidra , who was born in Servia Yugoslavia , he emigrated to Italy and developed a brief career , mostly Pasta Western as "May God Forgive You... But I Won't" , "Ballata Per Un Pistolero" or ¨Pistoleros¨, "And Then a Time for Killing" or ¨Tequila Joe¨, and "Django the Last Killer" . His nemesis results to be Robert Hundar who steals the show by doing the best acting out of the entire cast , as a villainous killer who relentlessly kills men and women , as well as torturing contenders by means of brutal tortures and even drowning cruelly a girl . At the beginning his career , Robert Hundar acted as an extra but Italian westerns soon followed in minor roles . He once reportedly missed out on a role in a Franco Nero western because his height made Franco Nero look too short , he soon moved into other film genres playing good guys , bad guys , and good-bad guys . As he performed several Ravioli Westerns , such as : ¨Cut-throats nine¨, ¨Antes Llega La Muerte¨ , ¨Con Lui Cavalca La Morte¨ , ¨Un Hombre , Un colt¨ , ¨Dakota Joe¨, ¨Ramon El Mexicano¨ , ¨Brandy¨ , among others.
Atmospheric cinematography by Amerigo Gengarelli in Technicolor , Techniscope , though a perfect remastering being necessary , and shot in Lazio (Rome) , no Almeria . Emotive as well as sad musical score by Roberto Pregadio , this soundtrack is one of the best parts of the film , plenty of catching and attractive sounds , mostly playing by guitar . The orchestra , trumpets, and guitar music set the proper tone for a western . The yarn was middlingly directed by Giuseppe Vari , nicknamed under pseudonym Joseph Warren . Vari was a good professional , a nice craftsman who directed various films of all kinds of genres , such as : Sci-Fi : Urban Warriors ; Warlike : Revenge of the bloody beach ; Nunexploitation : Sor Emmanuel ; Peplum : Revenge of the Barbarians , Rome versus Rome , Conquest of the Normans , and specially Spaghetti such as : 1971 Il Tredicesimo è Sempre Giuda , 1969 Un Posto all'inferno , 1968 Un Buco in Fronte , 1967 Con Lui Cavalca la Morte , 1967 Un poker Di Pistole and 1966 Deguello . Rating : 5.5/10 . Acceptable and passable .
This is the TV sequel to ¨Librarian trilogy ¨ with the likable Noah Wyle , this series dealt with the sympathetic adventures of the mild-mannered as well as botcher Flynn Carsen who starred three popular episodes titled ¨The Librarian¨ franchise 1ª: Quest of the spear -2004- directed by Peter Winther and 2ª: Return to King Salomon's mines -2006- by Jonathan Frakes and third ¨The Curse of the Judas chalice¨ -2008- again by Jonathan Frakes . Here new Librarians strike again with new adventures set on exotic places , including mystery , action , fairy tales and time travel . This new team - similarly to Warehouse 13- is sent through the doorway to help bring back the others whom are protected by the Library from the evil recently released and they are assigned to execute various missions around the world and recover priceless objects guarded . Each chapter has its own genre mixed in , it is formed by 31 episodes . Along with the main stars in the series , as guest stars show up , at times , : the always great Noah Wyle , a deadpan Bob Newhart , and Jane Curtin as Charlene , all of them appeared in the classic trilogy . Furthermore , other attractive guest stars appearing in the series , such as Tricia Helfer , Rene Auberjonois , Alicia Witt , John Noble , Sean Astin , Tyler Mane , Michael Trucco , Rene Auberjonois , Clara Lago and many others . The series was well produced for TV by Dean Devlin (¨Stargate¨ , ¨Godzilla¨ , ¨Independence day¨) . Johnathan Frakes, who has directed three episodes and two of the three movies surrounding this series, also directed 13 episodes of the television and Marc Roskin made 9 episodes , Dean Devlin directed 4 episodes , and Noah Wyle realized 4 episodes . Rating : Acceptable and passable, this exciting adventure has all the imagination , magic and silliness this kind of amusing demands .
