Murderville (2022)
Almost
The premise and the idea of the show is fantastic, the guests stars are pretty good. Kumail Nanjiani is the best of the lot.
Will Arnett and the remainder of the supporting cast do let it down which is really unfortunate. An improved supporting cast would improve the show tenfold.
A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017)
Disappointing Ending
The first two seasons were good and very humorous and still well worth a watch.
And I know it was based on the books so my review and feelings about the show are probably due to the books. But the ending was just poor and dissatisfying it felt rushed and left some questions that they had been building up to either unanswered or with unfulfilling answers.
Neil Patrick Harris was perfect for Count Olaf, was marvellous
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
Unbelievably good
Law and Order SVU continues to amaze. I was a fan of the earlier seasons but it wasn't until Stablers last 5 or so seasons when I became a massive fan. Then when the sad news came where Christopher Meloni decided he had enough I was honestly worried. HOWEVER the additions of Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino have been a great success and Im still enjoying every single minute of it. Every episode seems to be one where at some stage of it you are on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen and with some episodes having a slightly sudden endings you see yourself yelling at the screen for more. I cannot wait until season 16 comes on to the screen.
Its one of those shows where even if you know whats going to happen because you've seen it before you still want to watch it again. I must get the box set when it finally comes to an end
SVU is by far the best our of all the Law and Orders,
The Blacklist (2013)
The Possibilities are Endless
I could write a massive review about how amazing the first few episodes have been Because they are, but I wont, there are others which I am sure will do it for me.
I will spend this review loving the fact that this show can go in so many directions, Each episode thus far has had enough drama action and suspense to last you until the next episode is out and with numerous action points the drama can go in numerous directions, like Whats gonna happen with her partner, what is gonna happen with her dad, IS Reddington her father.
With so many possibilities that could unfold i just cant wait until the next episode. James Spader YOU RULE
Juno (2007)
A movie to watch again
Juno is a wonderful movie that explores the life of a young girl who has and unplanned pregnancy and her choice to have the baby and gift it to another couple. The movie is funny witty and clever but also addresses in the unplanned pregnancy issues very delicately and very well as well as talking about the hard decisions of whether to have an abortion or not. the two Young actors Michael Cera and Ellen Page do an amazing job and steal the show, right now it could even be the best one they have starred in. Jennifer Garner does her job as a good backup. Its a movie that is not great in how its produced but its a movie that you would happily sit down and watch again and again.
Elementary (2012)
Poorly Done Cover
When Sherlock Holmes come to television I watched it assuming that there would be a psychopathic detective with his Dr Sidekick (Watson)who solved the hardest of cases the police struggled with, Its not really what i got
The Television Commercials made it look interesting but if you compare it to other Covers of Sherlock Holmes they run rings around it
In Elementary Holmes nor Watson are as good or clever as in others and it is a whole less thrilling The murders are dull and doesn't make the audience wonder a whole lot, Lucy Liu is a great actress but not even she can pull off the job of Watson, it just doesn't fit and the actor playing Sherlock isn't as impressive.
Although I have only seen a couple of episodes I have made up my mind and Im sticking to Watching Sherlock. Londons BBC version
Semi-Pro (2008)
Just another silly Will Ferrell Movie
I wasn't to keen on watching it in the first place because it looked dumb and the movie was exactly what i thought it was going to be and a whole lot worse. Its another Will Ferrell fail (thank God he was in Stepbrothers otherwise all his movies would be fails)
The story of Semi-Pro is Jackie Moon (Will Ferrell) and his basketball team the tropics trying to get into the NBA. Moon being the owner, coach and player takes it apon himself to lift the team into the NBA by doing outrageously silly stunts like wrestling a bear and media conferences to attract people to their home games. The team is lifted with gun player Clarence 'Coffee' Black (Andre Benjamin) and adopted coach/player Monix (Woody Harrelson)as they get really close to getting into the NBA but miss out thanks to Jackie.
The movie never hits a high note as its funny bits are so stupid you don't even laugh at how stupid it is. Unless your a massive Will Ferrell fan don't watch it, even if you are still don't its the WORST movie i hav ever seen and the only movie I've walked out on.
