I would recommend this film to any one who is after a comedy for the night, Before i saw this film i was wary of it because of films I've seen with shabby Chinese - English conversion, or just terrible Chinese matrix styled martial art films, and i am glad I've been proved wrong. From the start to the end it is pact with Action and Humor. Jackie Chan is a sleek as ever with his strange ability to use the environment to his advantage in brawls and his strange antiques are as fine tuned as ever, ontop of this, his comedy is a fine as it ever has been, he pulled this off well and truly. I also though how the film ended was brilliant, i don't want to spoil it, so take my word, the ending couldn't be any better. In my opinion i would say this is in the top 10 films I've seen this year.

Apollo 18 (2011)

Different in a good way.

When i first saw this film i thought it was shot with a potato, literally, it wasn't till i was a good five minuets in that i realized it was going to be shot with a few cheap cameras all the way throughout, But this didn't make the film worse, in fact i think it made the film more interesting, and you could actually think that it was what actually happened, and by the way you cant always see what is going on around, makes a claustrophobia sense, and capable of giving shocks easier. OK, despite the film been shot with a few potatoes i think there are multiple times in the film where there is good acting, but a poor script, for example i couldn't sense fear in a character when i know any one of us would be on the toilet.... (the acting was there but the script was not) Another factor in this was that there are one or two parts in the entire thing where you cant help but think to your self i know whats coming next, and you turn out to be right, at other times you think you know and you turn out wrong..... Despite the obvious flaws in the film, i cant help but feel like i enjoyed the film, and i liked the fact that it has tried something different, and pulled it off. If you are a scifi fan, i think this is a film for you, if you are bored, i would say give it a try.

Tower Heist (2011)

I went in expecting to be a good laugh with my mates.... and i wished i spent 7 quid on toilet paper..... There are a good few funny remarks, but that is it, the acting i thought was relatively poor, and there has obviously been no effort put into writing the script and the laws of physics obviously haven't been taken into mind, ontop of this i could guess as to what was around the corner.... Many times through the film i was creasing, but at how awful the film was. At another point i was trying to spot faults in the film, like a change in tie colour, anything alike to keep me interested.... didn't take me long to find something out of place. There was one or two funny remarks in the film but the rest was childish humour you would expect in a child's film.

I would give this film 3/5 if it was for children upto 10 years... but for adults its simply pathetic....
