Wheel of Fortune (2010 Video Game)
Great Wii Game!
26 January 2019
Puzzles are challenging and game play is a good length, like an actual show. Family friendly with the real tv show voices and sound effects.

Frasier: Dinner Party (1999)
Season 6, Episode 17
The Best Frasier Episode
3 July 2011
A very unique episode, this one runs in real time. No time passes off camera. They could have performed and aired it live. The brothers decide to throw a dinner party, and the episode explores their attempt at agreeing on what four couples to invite, how they should invite them, and finally their analytical nature and tendencies as they attempt to analyze what their society friends think of their close relationship as brothers when one of their guests displays lukewarm enthusiasm to the invite. A great episode to watch, and in the eleven seasons, my personal favorite. Top shelf writing. Set aside some time to view this episode, maybe twice to fully enjoy the spot on comedy. You will enjoy!

Frasier: A Tsar Is Born (1999)
Season 7, Episode 7
Are Niles and Frasier royalty?
30 September 2006
This episode of Frasier features homage to "The Antiques Roadshow" which airs on PBS. Frasier and Niles are settling down to an evening of peaceful enjoyment with their favorite show which features fine antiques. They find out that Martin also loves this show, but has referred to it as his 'game show' all this time. After viewing the show together, Martin brings out a family heirloom which may be worth some money. The three go to the Antiques Roadshow when it visits Seattle, and Martin discovers that the item may mean something special for the Crane's ancestry. Frasier and Niles conduct research and jump to conclusions, imagining themselves to be most prosperous in heritage. Will it turn out that Niles and Frasier have royal ancestry? Watch and enjoy. The ending has a terrific reveal and is most enjoyable - some of the best writing from the Frasier series.

Thorough Documentary
20 January 2006
This documentary is a great digest for the film Field of Dreams, having as much heart as the feature film it discusses. In depth analysis from Costner, Jones, Madigan,Horner and Robinson among others tell us the rich story behind the story. This is a feature length documentary which covers everything from the initial writing process of the original novel, the field location and the release of the film. With humor and heart, and intelligent discussion and great behind the scenes storytelling, you will not be waiting for this one to end, like we may do with lesser 'making of' featurettes. This one does not have flash editing - flipping between snippets of interviews and showing scenes from the film. Rather, it is a well edited, well paced and chaptered feature style documentary. Great stuff. Nothing but a great addition to any Field of Dreams fan's library.

Hanging Up (2000)
Meg Ryan gives a powerful performance
30 September 2003
This film ahs been accused of being predictable, with Matthau being the dying elderly father, needing someone to care for him.

Meg is the only one of three sisters who is even interested in his condition. Kudrow and Keaton do a great job of portraying self centered, sinfully career minded people. Meg (Eve) is just as occupied, but takes the initiative to help out 'ol Dad. It is maddening as Eve is abused by her uncaring sisters and blown off at the same time (Kudrow leaving her dog with her, unannounced) and yet she keeps her sweet way. It is a treat to see Meg's performance when one of her sisters crosses the final line. Yes, it is a predictable film, but most (if not all) comedies are, aren't they? Meg's performance shows us once again how she can handle the heavy duty roles she deserves to get. Keaton also directed this project, and did a great job of showing how saturated we are with busy busy busy. Constant distraction is displayed well.

Uplifting Romantic Comedy For Men AND Women.
3 August 2003
This film features two heavyweights in the comedy genre. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are great together. Whether or not a film goer appreciates romantic comedy, this one is appealing across the board.

We follow Harry and Sally from their college years into their early thirties. They are good friends, and of course, as one would guess, the question is whether or not a man and woman can be friends. Harry goes through life getting one conquest after another, while Sally is much more conservative and cautious in her relationships. And as the two go on, they see others fall in love and the two are often left in the dust looking at each other. Meg is her usual adorable, perky self, and Crystal plays his character very witty and fast. The characters and story are heartwarming and believable. It is a happy story that is actually plausible and not a sappy destiny type film. Rob Reiner began a tradition here, using 'standards' for the film's music. Tracks such as 'It Had To Be You' and 'Let's Call The Whole Thing Off' were brought out for a new generation. Harry Connick Jr. was thrust into the mainstream because of this film, having sung several of the tracks. Director commentary on the DVD version is great and informative.

This film is very enjoyable and well made. In the genre of Romantic Comedy, I would safely say this is the best I have seen. A great rainy day love story that is always uplifting.
