The Four: Battle for Stardom (2018)
Awful
I agree with junkmailvenice. No way to get invested with The Four after a short group performance. Audiences like to judge for themselves. This show won't last. The judges are okay with the exception of Diddy. He comes off as a jerk.
Date Movie (2006)
Disgusting Movie
I am amazed by the many posts that "loved" this piece of garbage. What is wrong with with people? The toilet "humor" was simply not funny. Why would anyone write, star in, produce, direct, etc...this crap? I literally had to close my eyes during some of the scenes because I found them so offensive and gross. The writers obviously do not know the definition of the word "parody". And to top it all off, it was extremely boring.
Save your money, your time, and do not see this movie. And more importantly, do not help the idiots that made this movie see a profit.
If you want to see a parody, rent Airplane again. Or just about any other movie. Honestly, this is the worst movie I have ever seen in my life.
Crash (1996)
Stupidest Movie I've Ever Seen
I taped this movie the other day, thinking it was the Oscar winning "Crash". I have to say it is the worst movie I think I have ever seen. What was in the minds of the actors/actresses that agreed to play in it? Were they that desperate for money of something? The premise of getting sexually aroused by car accidents and bodily injury is just ridiculous. Plus the sex scenes? Not sexy, just stupid.
I've been in car accidents myself, and thankfully, no one was injured too badly. I wonder how some viewers that have suffered great injuries, or had loved ones get hurt, or worse, die, feel about this movie.
Shame on James Spader, Holly Hunter and Rosanne Arquette for performing in such a piece of garbage. Hey Holly, light years away from Broadcast News, huh?? Plus I guess that Spader (key of B movies) really needed Boston Legal to save his career.
Nip/Tuck (2003)
Awful
I'm ashamed to say that I have now watched 2 episodes of this horrible show and that is enough for me. I went back and watched a second episode, just out of curiosity, wanting to know if could it possibly get any worse? The answer, sadly, is yes. This show has got to be the worst piece of garbage ever put on TV! There is not one character on the show with any redeeming qualities, unless one considers greed, disloyalty, promiscuity and shallowness good. How anyone can like this show is a mystery to me. How anyone can care about any of these characters? I always need a good guy to root for. There are none in this show. I give it a big fat zero and hope that viewers come to their senses and stop watching this "sex fest with botox and silicone" so that it gets taken off the air waves. We have enough pollution.
Man on Fire (2004)
Entertaining, visual effects annoying.
Some other comments indicate that the first 50 minutes (which shows how Creasy and Pita formed a close bond) was boring. I have to disagree. That was the best part of the film for me. It was refreshing to see a 10 year old with such compassion and insight, especially since so many children in films these days are portrayed as overly cute and precocious, with no substance or empathy. I had never seen Dakota's acting before but now I understand why she is so admired. The 2nd half of the movie did make me squirm a little, it was rather hard to watch and a little unbelievable a times. Also, the visual effects throughout the entire movie were annoying at times. But all in all, I would recommend this movie and give it an 8 out of 10. Denzel's acting was great as usual, I've loved every movie I've ever seen him in. But what really made the movie for me as the character of Pita.
