My husband brought this home for me today as an early anniversary present. We saw DD 3x this year on the "Astronaut" tour and loved every show. I had made a random comment about wishing that we could capture the concert on film and play it over and over at will... well someone heard me because this is the DVD for that concert experience. It brought me back to when I was 13 and in love with these five guys.... I sang along with every song like I was hearing it for the first time back in the day....woooooooo!!!! Some extras are a great documentary with the history of the band, and a slideshow photo gallery. There's a 3D video clip that you get a pair of punch-out 3D glasses (inside a little booklet) but I kept the glasses intact and watched while holding the book up to my face. It didn't matter - I was disappointed over the 3D experience and just kind of put it aside. The rest of the set is great, and worth every penny. (You get a bonus audio CD too) 1978 to 2005 and Duran Duran is still fabulous. Can't wait to see them again this winter :)

I used to love to watch this show laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate-night back when I lived in the US (1992) ---- it was my routine twice a week to see "Forever Knight" and this around 2 am. Not the best-acted show by any stretch of the imagination, but I was always looking forward to the next episode, even if it was a repeat. Justin Louis played an ex-con, reformed former juvenile delinquent who goes to work for a fictional Montreal newspaper. During the course of his work day, he would be fighting society's dysfunctions and various crime situations. The cast of characters are all your usual suspects - grumpy boss, nosy office busybody, flirty buxom co-worker, on-the-down-low law enforcement confidante, etc... but still worth a few great TV memories from the 90's
Fans of this show are probably fans of Wiseguy (1987 - Ken Wahl), The Pretender (1996 - Michael T Weiss) and Forever Knight (1992 Geraint Wyn Davies) so I hope respectable, accessible boxed-set DVDs come out soon for us!

This is a fun movie to rent on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon... Think of when you're still in your jammies and have a few snacks and your family pet to lounge around, that sort of lazy afternoon and there's nothing really engaging on tv or cable... this is a good time for "Wolf". I'm not saying it's prime cinematography or The Next Great Film, but it is different and refreshing. I was satisfied and entertained by the end of the whole experience, and I own a copy to play whenever the mood strikes me. And - it's hard to go wrong with Michelle Pfeiffer or Jack (except in "Anger Management", but don't get me started on that piece of junk) and there is some great intelligent dialogue involving those two. Enjoy!

This is a classic tragic/romantic cliched story of two people who meet under impossible circumstances, fall in love under impossible circumstances, and have too many issues to deal with to make their relationship work. But I still enjoyed it. Star power is plenty with Winona & Richard and some great supporting roles from Sherry Stringfield (of ER fame) and the semi-bald shrink guy from Law & Order, but be prepared to watch it by yourself if you're a woman, and prepare yourself for the Steel Magnolias treatment if you're a man. I suggest for couples to really sit through this @ least once then talk about it. Builds character, and touches your heart, and definitely expands your horizons :)

I LOVED IT!
I happened to be channel surfing on a Saturday afternoon in NJ and came upon this almost-cheesy rip off of Miami Vice with a Sting-lookalike gorgeous man and a cool soundtrack featuring INXS.
I don't remember the plot, but I can recall: A very pretty female lead character who had over-the-top hair styles and a killer bod that did not require a bra
A neat convertible car

If you are REALLY hard-up to see this movie, PLEASE wait for it to come out on video/DVD or PPV... do not waste your hard-earned cash on a theatre viewing. My husband and I walked out on this while we were on vacation in DC, and were appalled @ the fact that we spent $9 each to see this crap. You WILL be disappointed if you are expecting good acting from Nicholson, or standard-issue Sandler fun (a la Wedding Singer or Happy Gilmore) .... We walked out after 45 minutes... I'm surprised we lasted that long!
