Hoodslam: The Accidental Phenomenon (2014)
Blast from beginning till end.
I've honestly watched it multiple times. Its quite the unique mixture of individuals that make up the Accidental Phenomenon. The tale of how everything came to be is both humorous and amazing. You will be laughing through the journey of odd characters and funny stories as the tale and dream of Hoodslam is brought to life before you very eyes. From the few people in a warehouse in Oakland California, to selling out multiple venues with over a thousand people. In my opinion to be a good documentary, it has to be informative and entertaining. I can assure you that this meets both requirements and then some. This is a must have for any real wrestling fan out there. I am happy to have it in my collection.
Appaloosa (2008)
A very good western
If you like westerns you will like this flick. Appaloosa was a true western. Probably one of the trues westerns in recent years. Most modern westerns seem to forget the action and the characters. I love Vigo's character. He says almost nothing, but his point is always made. My only complaint is Zellweger. I normally don't mind her in movies. But dear lord was she annoying as hell in this flick! Looking back I wish Vigo had talked more and Zellweger talked less. Ed Harris is of course fantastic. He always pulls off a great performance and Irons counteracts Harris with a great antagonist villain. All the characters are very well developed and the plot is quite good.
Push (2009)
Seen this movie before
OK this movie is pretty much Jumper/X-Men with some Van Damn mixed in.
Tough guy with little girl sidekick and the government is after them.
That stuff got old in the '90s.
It is incredibly predictable and boring. Trust me, you have seen this movie before.
Somebody decided to take a bunch of older movies and glue them together in hopes of making profit and hoping nobody would remember the '90s.
If you are a young teenager you might like this film.
But for those of you who remember the action films of the '90s you have seen this movie.
Through out the entire movie I could pretty much say the film word for word.
It had an exciting opening scene, but you were quickly thrown back down into the dumps.
