Call me crazy but I loved it!!!
23 July 2006
When I watched this movie I was gripped from start to finish. I too have never seen the original and really only watched it because I love Dakota Fanning but I have to be honest and say that it is a movie I will watch many more times. Having said that I do want to mention that I did not pay to see it in the theaters as I refuse to go to them so I do not feel like I lost money on it. But I do not feel it was a waste of my time. I compared it to movies like Independence Day which up to this point was my favorite Sci Fi movie, needless to say it has been replaced. I love the effects, and the acting. Tom Cruise was of course overshadowed by Dakota which in my opinion was not hard for this talented little girl. Her range of emotions in this movie was amazing. The movie certainly is not a think piece but that is not what I choose in a movie. If you are the analytical realistic movie fan then you will not like this movie, if you love a good shoot it up and destroy everything kind of movie than I promise you will love it also.

Cannot say enough!
26 March 2005
This is one of the best series I have seen in such a long time. I will be quite upset if it gets taken off the air anytime soon. The cast is brilliant, right down to Byrd's girlfriend of sorts. I feel that Susan Edelman and Tim Payne should win an award of some sort, I have never seen a cast blend so well together. I will admit that the series does start of slow but by the 3rd episode I was hooked and am now going crazy waiting for the second season. I recommend this show to anyone I talk to and hopefully the popularity will grow and we can watch this show for many years to come. My hat is off to Bob Lowry and Scott Winant...way to go and Thank You!

The Good Girl (2002)
It's A Head Scratcher!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Jennifer Aniston...Excellent! John C. Reilly...Excellent! Movie...Mind numbingly boring!!!

I think Jake Gyllenhaal needs to find a more suitable role, this is the first movie I have seen of his and I am sure it was a step up from BubbleBoy, but my god...what was the point.

(Spoilers)

Please explain to me the point of Gwen dying, The woman who entered the picture near the end (was she Bubba's girlfriend?) Was the baby a boy or a girl? Talk about confusion...I adore Jennifer Aniston and think that she is an excellent actress, but this movie did nothing for her.

I am not one to give advice, but if I can prevent one person from having to waste 2 hours of their life sitting through this drab and dreary waste of film, I will...WATCH WITH CAUTION. 0 out of 10

Loved It...Lost It!!!
15 February 2003
I am starting to feel like I am cursed. Every time I like a show it stops airing. I loved RHD and now I cannot watch it because CBS pulled it off the air. I still check to see if they brought it back and it has not been showing (in my area at least) for a month or more. I am very disappointed that this show is no longer being aired. After reading the comments on this site and seeing that a lot of people agree that it was a good show, I cannot believe they took it off the air. CBS is a joke...I mean really, they shove that CSI crap down our throats for two seasons and even went as far as to create a spin off that is even worse and RHD gets cancelled...someone please explain the logic. I hope it returns...I have my fingers crossed.

Primal Fear (1996)
Edward Norton.....Excellent!!!
6 August 2002
I have seen this movie quite a few times and even though I know how it is going to end, I am still amazed at the acting of Edward Norton. This was the first Edward Norton movie I had ever seen and even though "Fight Club" did not impress me I have yet to be disappointed by any of his performances. Richard Gere was great, as usual but I think he was well overshadowed by Norton.

A waste of 2 hours and 9 minutes
27 July 2002
This is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. I was never a big Russell Crowe fan to begin with but after watching this I would be very leery of ever paying to see another one of his movies (Ed Norton would have played the role much better). I cannot believe this won any Academy Awards much less the top one. The only thing positive I can say about this movie was that Ed Harris, as usual, was excellent. If you have not seen this movie consider yourself a very lucky individual. I enjoyed reading John Nash's autobiography.
