One word... WOW
9 June 2008
I've been a fan of the 1985 Anne of Green Gables series, loving it as a child and watching it on PBS growing up, and reading the books. Recently I stumbled upon this gem, thanks to the internet.

The drawings are excellent, and one is not even bothered by the subtitles. The story is so faithful to the books that you get swept up with the story. My heart just about broke watching Anne so upset and heartbroken at the thought of leaving Green Gables. I just wanted to hug her so badly, and it's anime! I laughed, cried, smiled my way through this charming series, and highly recommend it to any Anne of Green Gables fan.

Delight
1 July 2007
Okay, I admit, I haven't seen an animated film in a theatre in a long time...but when I saw the previews for this I thought it looked cute, had nothing else to do, bought a ticket and went in and saw it. I was extremely pleased with what I saw. The animation was great...the characters were cute. (What can I say? I have a fondness for rats, I had a pat rat myself when I was younger). It almost had an "American Tail" feel at the beginning. Delightful to watch, and some really funny parts in it. The kids will love this, and if it's doesn't win an award for best animated feature, something is definitely wrong with the Academy.

Wow...
25 December 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I just got finished watching this movie on PPV. I had been wanting to see it, but hadn't had the chance to. This movie kept me riveted to my seats, and if there was ever a seat gripper of a movie it was this one.

I saw flight 93 on A&E, and thought this was the more superior movie, especially when it came to the storming of the cockpit by the passengers. (Or it might be because I was watching it on Surround Sound). I sat their gripping my seat and just watched awestruck at the scene that was played before me. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I kept wanting them to be able to reach the cockpit and save the day...but we all know that didn't happen. The movie was able to show the chaos that happened on September 11, and I can only imagine what the flight controllers were going through, and they must have been out of their minds because of all the confusion. My only complaint is that I wished they would have had some scenes of the people who were talking to the passengers on the plane instead of just the passengers...but the movie was so great that I was able to look over it. This is a must see movie for everyone. I just hope that if i'm in a situation similar to this (god willing), I'll be able to react with the courage that the passengers and crew did on that fateful day.

The Music Man (2003 TV Movie)
Hmm...
7 September 2003
Well...it was interesting to say the least. But it sure didn't live up to the original. I like Matthew Broderick okay, but he just didn't get me as Harold Hill. Personally, I thought they should've used Craig Bierko, who was the first Harold Hill in the Broadway Revival. Overall the MUSIC was good. I especially liked listening to the Quartet, and Kristen Chenoweth has a great voice. (though i wasn't sure I liked the way they lowered the key for "My White Knight" but oh well). It wasn't HORRIBLE, cause....the music itself...and the singing..was good. But it just didn't capture the magic of the original.

Switched! (2003–2004)
I admit, I'm hooked

This show is great! Two teens switch places for about four days and get to experience what another life is like, and experience new things that they probably wouldn't get the chance to do at home, and live with another family and learn other cultures or whatever...and in the end the two teens get to meet each other. I highly recommend it.

Little Women (1949)
Well, I like it :C)
10 August 2002
I thought this was a beautiful movie, and very entertaining. My only real complaint is Elizabeth Taylor as Amy, (Amy is supposed to be the YOUNGEST??)I liked June Allyson as Jo, and I really liked Margaret O'Brien as Beth. I've seen the three versions of the book, and even though the one with Winona Ryder is my favorite, I really enjoyed this movie. There was one aspect that I noticed about this film. The sets are the exact same as the one with Katharine Hepburn!!!!!

One of the few anmiated movies that makes me cry every time
29 July 2002
This was the first movie i ever saw in the theater, i was like two and a half or three, and i fell in love with it. (I got a Fievel Stuffed animal the following Christmas, and i still have it, and it's my favorite stuffed animal ever) The scene where Fievel and his sister sing "Somewhere Out There" is just sooo sweet!!!!! It makes me cry every time i see it.

Go out and rent it. It'll make you cry and it's worth the money!!!!

So THIS is the reason i stay up all night!!!!

I love this show! All the guys are good looking (especially Mario) in their own way, and they talk about subjects that would interest women. It's nice to get a man's point of view on things...and they're not all biased either. They all have different points of views. If you're up this early, definitely watch it!!!

This was my favorite movie of my childhood
24 July 2002
Okay, I can kind of say i've kind of outgrown this movie, but i still like it. It's one of the first movies that I can recall seeing, even if it wasn't in a theater. I was in Galveston Texas in a motel room when I first saw this movie, and I fell in love with it. (i was three or four at the time) Lea Thompson became on of my favorite actresses. Sure, it's corny...but it's still fun to watch. Did you know that Lea Thompson did her own singing in the film?? It kinda has that "There's No Place Like Home" feeling...Howard has that anyway. Anyway, i still love this movie!!

Fun!
29 May 2002
This show is great. The hosts are kids...and kids are able to send in ideas for games and projects and recipes. They have all sorts of fun stuff for kids to try out. They also talk about issues that may face kids in school. It's a great show for any kid to watch after school and gives them plenty of ideas of things to do that are safe but fun. I recommend this show for anyone.

Great movie!
29 March 2002
I just saw this movie tonight, opening night. It was great!! I'm a big fan of sports movies, and this was right up there as one of my favorites. Dennis Quaid was great. (Oh, by the way, Mr. Quaid, if you read this...my sister lives in Austin, where you live.....and she was supposed to buy you a drink once...well...she kinda stood you up...but she didn't mean to! :C) [not that anyone's going to believe that...]) ANYWAY, it's a great movie. Everyone who likes a good sports movie, should go out and see it! :C)

This used to be my favorite show. It was difinitely one of the best shows ever on Nickelodeon!!!!!!
