The Hospital (2013)
Good slasher movie
Let's start with a word of warning -- or encouragement, depending on your tastes. "The Hospital" is a sick little puppy of a movie.
The plot is deceptively familiar -- a student reporter goes to a small town to research a "haunted hospital." The locals warn her to stay away, but she ignores their warnings and goes the the hospital where she is promptly captured by the caretaker, a grotesquely fat creep named Stanley. Meanwhile, a group of twenty-somethings get together to investigate the hospital for one of those "Ghost Investigation" television shows. Once they get to the hospital, they run into Stanley and, of course, end up getting more than they bargained for. But the film lulls you into a false sense of security, because when the crap starts to hit the fan (and hit it, it most certainly does), it does so in a way that is unexpected and jolting.
"The Hospital" doesn't scrimp on nudity, violence, and overall sickness and that is a point in its favor. The acting is, as is typical for a low-budget indie, of varying quality but in general it's pretty good -- the victims, in particular, give very brave and believable performances that give the film some real power. Most of the actresses (with one exception) are attractive and the actors don't look like just they were just a group of the director's friends. There are certainly flaws -- the film meanders at times, there are some attempts at comedy that fall flat, and the filmmakers seriously overreach for some special effects (especially in the climax) that just don't cut it and, to be honest, look a little silly.
One specific warning is that in addition to the violence the film has some pretty strong rape sequences. But in a way that actually adds to the realism of the film since that's what you'd expect a real sicko to do. Adding to the realism is that the original student reporter is a very heavy woman -- almost as heavy as Stanley the caretaker -- and in real life these type of women get captured as well as slender and fit gals. (As an aside, they probably should have rewritten some of script once this actress was cast, since the characters continually refer to her as "She's so pretty!" and "She was the prom queen!" which, despite the brave performance of the actress, is not how anybody would describe her.)
"The Hospital" is not for everyone, obviously, but if you are a fan of sick indie horror and want to spend some time with your mouth agape stunned at what you're seeing unfold on the screen before you, then "The Hospital" is definitely worth checking out.
The Ruins (2008)
Must watch 👉
A different story, well portrayed. A strange plant that speaks and eats flesh. I did not see such a movie so far, this is amazing. This movie is a combination of love and fear.
A trip turns to bad. 6 people went and 1 survived. Everything was well, accidentally Stacy killed Eric that was bad. Between Amy and Jeff could have survived together, but it happens for Jeff to sacrifice to keep Amy alive.
Overall recommended to watch one time.
I'm watched this movie twice time and i recommend to you and I'm hopeful that you must be enjoy to it. Its a very good horror, thriller and adventure movie as you want.
Run! Bitch Run! (2009)
Waste of time 👊
For a revenge movie then this 2009 movie was nowhere near as interesting, thrilling or disturbing as other movies of the same genre, for example "I Spit on Your Grave".
The idea of the movie, the storyline if you will, is very simple and straight forward, as they usually tend to be for these particular types of movies. The storyline, simply put, is about two Catholic school girls find themselves at the mercy of three maniacs when they knock on their door during their trip to sell bibles.
It is no secret that we don't watch these movies for their elaborate storyline. Hardly so. No, we watch these movies for the violence and to see what kind of wicked ways the movie makers come up with for torturing people on the screen and what nasty ways people are killed by those wronged in the movie. Yes, the revenge genre is a particularly nasty genre by comparison to most other genres.
And you find yourself watching these movies because you enjoy the genre, most likely not because you stumble upon them by sheer random luck.
What ultimately killed off this movie for me, pardon the pun, was the slow pace that it trotted on at, and the lack of convincing acting performances by the majority of the cast (which wasn't many, mind you, as there were few people in the movie). Had there been more talented people in the movie, it would have been all the more enjoyable.
Don't get me all wrong here, because there were also nice aspects to the movie, they were just overshadowed by the less than mediocre stuff. And that was a shame, because it dragged the movie down.
There are far better movies available in this particular genre. And I can honestly say that now as I have seen the movie, I am not going to revisit it ever again.
A Walk in the Clouds (1995)
Good movie 🍿
Paul (Keanu Reeves) has just returned from World War II. He is plagued by horrific memories of combat and wants desperately to start again with his wife (Debra Messing). The trouble is, however, that their marriage was a rushed, wartime affair, as Paul, like soldiers everywhere in America, wanted to taste love and matrimony before being sent into battle. She seems happy to see him but wants him to return to his traveling salesman position as soon as possible. Once on the road, again, Paul meets a stunningly beautiful Mexican-American woman named Victoria (Aitana Sanchez-Gijon) on the bus. When a small group of men begin to harass her, Paul comes to her rescue, with fists flying. Subsequently, both Paul and Victoria are tossed off of the bus. As they are waiting for the next Greyhound, Victoria tearfully tells Paul that she is pregnant, "done wrong" by a professor at the university she attended. Her father, a wealthy vineyard owner, is going to "kill her", as Victoria states. But, wait. What if Paul pretends to be her new husband and goes home with her for a day or two? Then, the big blow of an out-of-wedlock pregnancy will be avoided and the couple can "divorce" some time later. Paul agrees to help her and they return to the stunningly beautiful vineyard and mansion she calls home. Naturally, her father (Giancarlo Giannini) is angry at the sudden marriage, especially since Paul is an orphan and Victoria can trace her family's history back 400 years. Yet, Victoria's mother and grandfather (Anthony Quinn) try to make their new relative comfortable. But, will Victoria and Paul be able to pull the wool over everyone's eyes? And, what about the undeniable attraction that is brewing between the young couple? This is one of the most romantic films ever, giving great delight to anyone who craves tales of epic love. Reeves and Sanchez-Gijon are terrific as the gorgeous and confused young lovers while Quinn gives a great turn as the family's patriarch. Giannini, too, does a nice job as the proud yet vulnerable father and the other actors are quite fine, too. As for the costumes, script, and production values, they are wonderful, also. But, indeed, it is the stunning photography of the lovely vineyard and stately family home that takes this film into the upper echelons of visually-arresting movies. For those in the world who would like to stir up a romantic evening with their partners, this film is a great catalyst. After a showing of its loveliness and romance, most every viewer will be in the proper mood for a night of love.
Don't Breathe (2016)
Recommended 👌
OH MY GOD!
Don't breathe is a masterpiece ,there is not any moment where you will regret your decision of watching it.
This is called thriller, I have never seen such a movie.
There are so many twists and turns that the moment you think okay done, there comes another twist which leaves your eyes wide open.
It doesn't give you chance of getting irritated by characters decisions.
After so much time i have seen a suspense thriller in which characters do not do any senseless action to escape.
Don't go on its trailer, the movie is far more amazing and jaw dropping.
This is a must must watch.
Don't Breathe 2 (2021)
Must watch 👍
The blind navy seal veteran is back and more ruthless than ever. A young girl is taken in by lang after she's found by him passed out in the street in front of her parents burning home, the blind man then trains her military style to protect herself. When she turns 11 her biological parents who are both drug dealers show up and try to take her back so her terminally ill mother can get a heart organ transplant from her daughter (without her will of course) and lang hits them with a bloody vengeance. Movie is witty, graphically violent, intense, suspenseful and portrays the blind man this time as a rambo type warrior who goes on a violent revenge spree against the gang of ruthless killers. Is routine but great acting from a great cast helps this out a lot. Good script and i ilke this story better this time around. A 9 out of 10.
Trauma (2017)
Waste of time 👊
Stupid script; -stupid dialogue; -gratuitious nudity and full frontals galore; -stupid "based on a true story" BS historical context with the Chilean dictatorship (exploiting history and victims); -shock for the sake of shocking; -confused plot; -plot holes; Etc.
Not much to say about this one, it tries to top aA Serbian Film but fails because ASF, how exploitative it might be, actually has a somewhat coherent plot.
This grabbage doesn't.
A tedious watch, where the overall garbageness overwhelms everything else.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015)
Average movie
Movie gave a right impression right from the word go. From starting, the cinematography and the movie flow was very soothing and never went out of stream. It's really hard to believe that Salman's movie will be based on content. Hence it takes time for a viewer and consistent effort from director to believe it. Fortunately, this movie does all. Kept its movie theme intact and didn't fall into the trap of silly commercialization. Although crowd still goes mad when Sallu enters or shows his style. The movie had its limitations such as over extension of the story towards the end of second half, despite it maintained a decent pace. Many scenes were over-engineered but the sentiments were always preserved in a correct way. It showed a good angle of Indo Pak love relationship without any foolish sentiments.
Everyone delivered an average acting performance with Salman and Nawazuddin slightly above the rest. There were few good Pakistani scenes involving Nawaz in which he nailed most of it. Neither Salman showed his standard stupidity nor the movie tried to structure like that.
Quite experienced with Hindu-Muslim and Indo-Pak relationships, Kabir Khan made a good use of it. Direction was consistently good and effort was noticeable. He made sure movie doesn't loose its plot and becomes lovable.
Music was avoidable and anyways made no impact either ways.
Overall, movie with good sentiments that never looses its plot.
PK (2014)
Normal movie
First half of the movie focuses on comedic aspect. I think the last time I heard such hearty laughs were at 3 idiots screening. Amir Khan's acting is brilliant as always. Whoever wrote this story had given it much thought on the basic idea as it was thought provoking and tries to shatter the root of evil in our religious society.
But the upper layers of the story were like any other Indian movie, with same emotional drama in awkward places, a love story, an evil guy who gets ridiculed, etc. Thus the movie couldn't get too deep. It couldn't deliver to its full potential, but at any moment in the story I didn't feel bored. Songs are right on spot and creates a good mood.
The movie also makes you realize how colorful, beautiful yet complex Indian society is. If you liked the movie Oh my god! Then I am sure you would like this too. Worth a watch anyway.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Amazing movie 🍿
Simply incredible. Never before have I seen a 3 hour movie that didn't seem like 3 hours. I read the Lord of the Rings very recently and I was surprised at how similar Peter Jackson's vision was to my own.
Now about the omissions and alterations. I'm not a crazed fanatic who gets worked up over every little detail. I didn't mind Arwen's inflation and I'm actually glad Tom Bombadil was scrubbed (I felt Tom Bombadil was an unnecessary addition to the book). Despite these minor changes, the screenplay stays extremely close to the book and flows very very well (and the prologue was a nice touch).
The acting was flawless. As I've read many many times in other reviews, McKellen doesn't play Gandalf, he IS Gandalf. Wood, Mortensen, Holm, Astin, everyone was fantastic. My hat's off to Sean Bean who delivers an excellent performance as Boromir, a character who's intentions are good but wrestles with the corrupting power of the Ring. Bean portrays it VERY well. Oh, and Andy Serkis does a PERFECT Gollum voice. It's EXACTLY as I imagined it myself.
The special effects were incredible, the cave troll, the balrog, Gollum, and Sauron's Eye all looked amazing. I was also very impressed by the seamless shrinking of the vertically challenged characters.
