Stefanie Gets Sick and Archie's Usual Concerns
7 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a pretty good episode; I actually liked many of the episodes with Stefanie. I know they were more towards the end while they were grasping straws to extend the show and doing the usual bringing in a cute little kid to the storyline but I like the way they did it - not that i liked the idea Stefanies father dumped her but that Archie and Edith cared and lived her enough to want to take her in. A few whoops in this episode bring a retired pediatric RN; first Stefanies appendix i thought was almost burst irregardless she wouldn't be able to eat regular food the next morning never mind cake. Of course it's hard to do but she looked pretty bright eyed and bushy tailed fir having had surgery in the middle of the night. But still a cute little episode - i like the part where Sidney proved himself worthy of being a Dr. To Archie.

Really Really Good Story Keeping Your Attention
4 May 2024
This is a very interesting episode that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I chi helped when i read the synopsis because i recently saw similar storyline on Streets of San Francisco with Christopher Tabori playing a student who needs good grades to please his father. And a similar story too on Kojak with William Katt as one of the 2 students in the same situation. All 3 excellent story lines and although similar each of the stories has a different entanglement involved to unwind and solve. All the actors involved especially the students were very keen and cunning and dramatic. This episode is worth viewing. If you have a chance watch Streets of San Francisco- Most Likely to Succeed and Kojak Life, Liberation and the Pursuit of Death. The streets of San Francisco has a recognizable and great cast.

Confusing But Watch it Again; Very Good!
30 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was very good. First time i watched it i was little confused with the girls killed storyline and the older couple. I didn't catch the connection between the 2 plots but i think I was doing something so i rewatched it and really paid attention to bc what was going on and caught in to the connection of the older man and the killings. It wasn't till a little later when Arthur's wife tells Mike the story about the girls and her husband. Each time i watch it i catch on to something else i didn't before. I have to say the wife was very good telling her story to Mike - i like the way she told the story.

One of my favorites!!!!

Don't Like the New Theme Song
19 April 2024
Absolutely agree with the other reviewer who said what was wrong with the theme song before. Funny i would've been a little young to watch Kojack when it first came out although i'm very familiar with the original theme song and hadn't remembered there was a change. I watched the older episodes as i got a little older so i'm surprised i dint remember the second theme song. Many of the 70's showed were like that for me because i was 10 in 1972 but for like with Kojack I was 10 when it started but 15 when the last season aired for the first time. Many early episodes of Kojack and other tv shiws of this time i would've watched the later episodes when first on and earlier episodes in repeats.

Sad With Unexpected Ending
18 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good episode but sad storyline of one of the detectives involving his home life problems. It starts with showing the couple at home and the wife looking besheveled and upset that her dog has passed away. When she starts to talk to her husband you realize she's not all with it and possibly had a mental problem. As the story unfolds you find out with little detail that there was some sort of accident the father blake's himself for that cost their son to lose his life. And of course you realized why the wife seems to nit be all with it. She goes in and out of talking line her son is still alive sometimes and others where she realizes and refers to the son being gone. Anyway as the story continues you find out more about what's going on and how the husband is struggling to try and help the wife and the wife floating in and out of reality and the sad unfolding of one thing after another happening that makes the story mire tragic. This was second time watching this episode and it took me few minutes to remember parts of the ending and what happened. There was not a lot of dialogue but more looks about how the end of the story went with actually guessing the very final story outcome. And i would say this has an unexpected ending.

Different mafia nationalities
16 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good episode. First time i'm seeing this 2 parter. You really have to pay attention to what's going on because there's so much action and a lot going on. I think i will watch it again to catch what was confusing. Michael Constantine - such a great actor was good as the head of Scalesi clan. A note about the 2 nd reviewer here is that they gave the heading of their review as Nervy kids. These were not kids they were young adults and the seriousness of their crimes was horrific. Hard to see the head of the Chinese clan as a bad guy. He was Sam on Quincy and a good character in that but he did do a good job in this episode. I've seen Leonard in a lot of tv shows - from what i remember he's played good characters - even in this episode how did he get mixed up with these criminals. Poor Nancy how she got involved with the Chinese clan and mafia IDK. Grandmother didn't say much and not sure why she was in the story except for showing Chinese Culture and Chinatown.

Very Good unusual Christmas Eve at the Police Station
16 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good episode but a little unusual as i did not expect what it turned out to be. I thought it would be more down to earth but it was still good because it was interesting. I liked seeing Theo on his off time from work on a date with a young Veronica Hamel. I liked the guys at the station giving Theo a funny but good gift. It took me a while to understand that the older man who did the shooting in the bar was actually following his young wife who he was upset with because he thought she was cheating on him. I realized he was following the girl up to no hood but when i rewatched it that's when i realized the young girl was the young wife of the older man. I think the age difference threw me off. I also didn't realize till second watching that Loretta was spotted by the older husband because she looked and dressed similar to Loretta therefore leading the husband to think Loretta was his wife and why he aimed shooting at her. Luckily i was glad the drs family was spared by the old man because i didn't want too much violence to happen in a Christmas episode. The storyline with Allison was very unusual in that although Allison was afraid that her boyfriend might commit a crime - I felt the story was far fetched - I don't know that the cops would really do anything about a potential crime especially with Allison's description of her relationship. What she described as her boyfriend relationship sounded far fetched and that she was taking a date and calling a short acquaintance as a steady boyfriend. I think mostly i didn't buy the story because i would've thought her story was untrue. Too bad they didn't do more Christmas episodes of tv shows that lasted a lot of seasons. I was just watching lojack marathon on pluto today and there was an episode where it did not appear to be the holidays however Kojack said Happy Holiday to someone and you saw a small Christmas tree in the background. I saw that once on Streets of San Francisco where i don't think they had any real Christmas show but there was an episode where Mike mentions Jeannie's coming home for the holiday but there is no major focus or theme of Christmas going on except they were near a store and it appeared holiday directions were decorating the back ground.

Please not Joyce is a crazy young man!
16 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This is an excellent episode; Joyce is weird and turns scary and creepy. Lisa , you feel sorry for because she's already fragile mentally and this is all she needed was to witness Joyce's craziness and go deeper into mental shock. Lohan was very caring and tried to get to the bottom of what was going in and help Lisa. And Joyce's mother was excellent too as the nosy interfering demanding pain in the neck old lady. No wonder Joyce was off his rocker. This episode is one of my several favorites. The Christmas one and Ariana are also at the top of my list. This episode kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and it was sad seeing the psychiatrist killed and especially seeing Lisa pushed way over the edge where it appears she'll never get over her experience. It didn't surprise me that Joyce lost it with his mother.

Creepy and kooky; spooky and all together Ooky; the Ferguson Family!!
8 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Very chilling and scary episode especially it's supposed to partially based on a real killer Family. These people were callous and oblivious to any emotion or extreme seriousness of their crimes. I half expected they'd do the daughter in law in. My 2 questions regarding this episode and believability are the same as the other reviewers. One being the believability of them not messing up and leaving fingerprints and getting caught much sooner and the other the fact ; i got the impression the younger sister Monica appeared to be possibly under 18(mentally and physically) and special needs. I questioned why Monica was arrested as she did not appear to be intelligent enough to understand what the rest of the family were really doing. I certainly understand the arrest of the others although not sure until the daughter in law revealed the mother was the ring leader to barking the orders- as to why the mother was arrested being she was not physically in person involved with the crimes. She was just as bad as the husband and son because they did everything she said. And she was extremely eerie with her response to and Garrett at the end and if there were any question of her involvement she cooked her own goose with her statements. The son and husband of course scary in their non chalant way of the murders and even the daughter in law fully aware of herself setting up the scenes for robbery and or murder was creepy and of course rightly arrested; in fact it appeared she was trying to stage her own crime benefits and she went right along with crimes knowing of tge murders even if she did commit them herself. It appeared her blurting out what the others did was mostly to try to get herself out of whatever she could so her charges would be lessened. But i did not understand the issue with Monica being arrested. I realized McGarret may not have known of her naiveness or special needs and lack of intelligence at first but after delving into things more i didn't understand why criminal charges weren't dropped or that he didn't question her physical and mental age. The fact the daughter in law ratted on the mother and men to lighten her charges maybe - she could've spoken up about Monica. After all she called her stupid.

The one other issue was the believability of the family committing more than 150 murders. I realize on screen they were responsible for six and i get that they said they traveled to almost half the US but the 150 count went along with my questioning in all that time they supposedly committed those crimes with their simple unemotional eerie thinking how did they not slip up and leave any fingerprints every time. It sounds far fetched they would've gotten away with their crimes that many times that they would've accumulated that extreme number without being caught. Although what do i know - many serial killers are believed to have committed crimes and killings in high numbers without fully being tied or charged to everyone. With them it's hoped that they can be connected and charged with as many as possible so they'll at least be in prison for life without any chance getting out and sentenced to several life sentences. These people were in fact serial killers but it was their extremely simple thinking that was unbelievable they got away with their crimes so long.

Slow Boat to Baby
16 March 2024
This episode is dragged out. I'm not fond of the blackface end of the story. I think they could've possibly done Birth if the Baby in one episode. The second half is hysterical and very good. You're not missing iut on much if you dint see the first half. I think the guys from the lodge would've felt the same if it was one of them who's grandchild was coming. If i was Archie i would've said i don't care if you kick me out of the lodge. I don't know if a lodge would allow it's regular members to kick out somebody - wouldn't there be specific rules and officers of the lodge. But i did realize the 1st guy at Archie's is the president however again i think there's be specific rules and guidelines to follow.

Crabby Gloria and Mike
16 March 2024
I agree with the posted review. This episode is ok and a little funny. It's a shame they didn't take the time to focus on a subject more interesting and with more laughs for this episode. I think with the birth of the baby eminent they could've come up with something else more interesting for the story line. I was wondering g why Gloria's baby shower was at a point in her pregnancy where she's overdue. I thought most showers were about 1-2 months before the baby arrives. Also Gloria was working how come most of her friends at the shower are other ladies from her child birth class. And my other question is no mention as far as i saw as to where Archie is?

Little Boring and Monotonous
14 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is ok but the storyline goes on and on and very repetitive. There's really no twists and turns. It's about an angry American Indian and he's angry with the way his people have been treated and he ends up losing his job and more. I am all for those treated wrongly no mater what background, race or nationality you are. I'm against prejudice and the poor way people are treated depending on where they're from and who they are. But this character doesn't do anything good to better and help himself - so he's crying the blues and angry but doesn't help himself- he only ends up getting in trouble and doing no good.

16 November 2023
Excellent episode!!! First time I've seen it as far as I can remember. I was born in 1962 so I would've not watched the early seasons till later in reruns. I do remember enjoying it at grade school age but idk when it was exactly I may have started watching later episodes if it was in first run or repeats. Always did like this show and of course saw it often as I got older in reruns. But I don't remember early episodes at all. In fact I don't remember watching it at all ir even knowing about Bub. I can only remember Uncle Charlie. I'm not sure if I ever saw the early episodes even in repeats. I didn't even know there was initially another older brother before Robbie till I was older. And I think I only knew about him and Bub because my mother told me about them.

Anyway fabulous episode about the true meaning of "Thanksgiving". But I always wonder especially in our world today why (and thank God) do we see people being kind during the holidays. Why don't we see that all year through and in fact being kind is a problem today all by itself. Never mind predjudices and people getting along in life in our world. Too many people don't even bother with their own family. I get that sometimes but it's outrageous the number of people on the outs with someone in their family. And these days I'm talking about immediate family too. How is our world going to change for the better if we can't even get along with our own family. All we can do is try to do our part in helping our world become a better place for future generations.

Martin Sheen excellent guest star!!!
7 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I agree with previous reviewers review of the character of Kate. I think it was overplayed and too not believable that she'd be so gullible that Dean was interest med in her as a girlfriend and that it was ridiculously obvious he was using her. Although I feel it was still a good watch with Martin Sheen as a guest star. An amazing actor and excellent in anything he's in. Wether it be guest star in tv or in movies! I think it deserved one more star just fir him. This story resembles the story a room with a view in that the female main character is also a bit too frumpy and being used by the criminal too and unbelievably obvious and leaves you wondering how she didn't realize she was being used.

The Girls Try to Get Over on Mom and David
18 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This was a great episode. Very realistic to start- the girls want to have some friends from school over for a party but mom is not going to be home. They try convincing her not to go or that they don't need a chaperone. They ask Ann to change her plans even but they don't say they'll change their plans to another time. In walks David and they sucker him in to say he'll chaperone their party and they convince their mother the party will go on as if she wax there herself chaperoning promising to follow rules. You can guess the rest as to how the party and David's chaperoning goes !!! Funny how lenient Ann is. Barbara is suppose to be only in 9 th grade so I believe she's suppose to be 14 and I think she was really the age she was portraying. Ironically I also believe McKenzie and Valerie were the same age - McKenzie was a few months older than Valerie but Barbara looking younger obviously fit Barbara's part and McKenzie looking older fit Julies part. I think Julie was suppose to be 1 1/2 yrs older than Barbara. I really liked Barbara because I liked her character and what she was suppose to be like in real life. Originally I like McKenzie although I had a lot in common with Barbara myself in personality and a good kid, but when I found out about MacKenzies real life I didn't care for her on the show as much. It was probably because I knew she was actually worse in real life than her character in the show was. I realize now it was unfortuanate and have more understanding of how she ended up with the problems she did. She unfortunately had a horrible childhood with supposedly many horrible and disgusting things her father did, with him supposedly giving her drugs and allegations of incest. I'm not sure if details but I do wonder if the allegations are true how they happened how did her mother not see or know what was going in and get her out of that environment. Maybe she was into the drugs too and led the same lifestyle. It's really sad her celebrity childhood environment was bad as many child stars have endured but hers was especially awful causing years of drug abd life problems. I'm 2 years younger than Balerie in real life so I would have been about 12 in 7 th grade when the show started. But I still knew about the problems she had on the show and his her drug abuse affected her eventually leading to her being fired. I remember and can clearly see how awful she looked at around the time of her firing from the show. In all honestly her drug addiction was not entirely her fault - if it happened as it's been told. But extremely sad and awful that a parent would give and introduce drugs to a young teenage child and get their own child addicted. I know she found sobriety fir a while and I hope she continues to do so.

Immature Mother
18 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I live live love this show- ( no one will ever get me to watch the reboot! I'm not a fan of reboots to begin with but when somethings good stick with it. Also many shows and movies are flops after the original - after all there's nothing like the original. Anyway getting back to the episode I face it the title I did because I agree with the reviewer above how Ann acts sometimes. She was of course very very young when she married and at 30 something with teenagers I know can be reslustic but I do think it's the less common than 40 something and over raising teens. I like her as an actress but I thought she was too young to play the mother of Julie and Barbara. And as the reviewer above mentioned she didn't write the episodes. I laugh all the time now - funny I didn't notice it didn't care that she rarely looked like she wore a bra but watching the show now as 50 plus adult it's hysterically noticeable snd one of my daughter friends mother who also watches the show now says - I don't understand why she never wore a bra and agrees it's so noticeable and doesn't look right. I do want to mention back in its initial broadcasts I thought the mother was trying to be more of a friend to her kids than a mother. Even back the. I thought Bonnie was too young to play the part. I realize she was portraying a younger mother of teens and back when it first aired i and I'm sure many teens thought she was a cool mom but not realistic to the average kid. Which is clearly shown in this episode. Still my scoring is based only on this episode and the story line - and no matter the nit as good episodes this was my top favorite tv show as a teen and now too.

Lovejoy Oh Boy!!! A Good One!!!
16 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I liked this episode a lot. I thought the acting was great snd loved the main guest stars in their I agree with one of the other reviewers about the issue of character roles. It was a great episode even being it was in. Lighter mood than usual even considering the crimes committed. Almost comical especially at the end which made it interesting too teaching the child to swindle and lie therefore took two points away for that. I felt that the less serious tone helped to carry the episode better. I like H-5-O a C a lot but some episodes were hard to follow because and keep my attention because it made some episodes boring, too serious and sometimes too involved and confusing with follow.

Rinks terrible and Blooey booey
16 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I did not care for this episode. I thought it had too much extra going on and was partially boring. The scenes with the gang glider were beautiful but I found myself reviewing the story early because I was bored. I only finished watching it to find out what happened and just finish watching it. The criminals were too dumb acting and not organized for the crime they committed and I felt should have been easily caught. I felt they were not smart enough to have engineered the crime and escaping the police. They acted more like criminals that may have committed a less severe crime - one where no one was hurt. The criminals didn't match the seriousness of the crimes. Some of the cops were in clothes you'd think were appropriate for police work in Hawaii - I always wondered why when they were out of the police station why they were suits - I expected they may only wear their suits at headquarters. I assume part of the reason was the time es and how people dressed in general and fir work be today. I did like the part towards end when they pursued the criminals.

Cold child Nappers
16 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Oh boy was this couple major money hungry to be that cold and cruel to not only steal and sell babies but to sell their own baby with the father having no guilt ir emotion and the mother but much better - selfish and the opposite of the natural caring a mother has for her child. She only cared about being with the husband and where and what they'd spend they're time doing. Although Meg Foster and Richard Hatch not super popular but I think know enough at this time I felt their acting was very flat. I know they were suppose to be playing a couple who sells babies including their own and suppose to be cold and non caring but I still felt the lack of umph in the acting to believably be heartless criminals. But this was probably early in their careers and I thought it was still a interesting episode.

Good episode because of Sylvester!!!
26 March 2023
I'm probably giving my age away being I'm stating good episode based on Sylvester Stallone's starting in this episode. If I said it was because of Chuck Connors you would know I'm older but I'm not only giving out my age with the fact of loving Sylvester but if I say I was a Rocky fan which you may have guessed already I think I'm narrowing my age down more. So yes I was a teenager when the Rocky's first movies came out and saw and was a fan of the first 3 of the sequels. And yes I know some people don't think Sylvester is or was a great actor because of his extremely strong obvious NY roots and typical Brooklynite characteristics are showing through too strong but I'm a born and partially brooklynite myself from around the corner Flatbush. So how could I not love him!!! Funny I grew up partially in NJ also as my mother was born in Brooklyn and worked on the miracle -34 th st and my father hailed from the Bronx - they had spoken over the phone many times for a year with through their work and finally my father ended up coming to my mothers office Ian's the rest is history!!! My father moved in with my mother when they married into the house my mother grew up in. And eventually my father ended up commuting to his new job Fedders air conditioning in Edison NJ. Eventually then when ready to buy a house late 60's they ended up in Woodbridge NJ and as my mother would eventually say was a great move being what the area would eventually become. For a while while still visiting older family members I. Brooklyn we'd ride past the old house til it eventually sadly burned down. So fir me not having ever seen this to show til the age of 60 in 2023 this episode I thought was just ok except for the fact of Sylvester but if your older than me you may like it for Chick Connirs and if your not too much younger you may like it for the same reason or that you enjoy old police shows. I happen to be as I said fan if Sylvester but also as a retired pedi nurse and former wife of a cop love both medical and police shows although I would've been too young to see this when it was first out amd maybe even in early repeats - I grew up more on the later 70's and early 80's shows and lived many from that time and after. Even some of the late 60's and early 70's I eventually became old enough to watch in repeats.

Inspiringly Good
25 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good story especially inspiring with the determination this police officer had to make a comeback and get back to the work he loved. I do agree the accident scene did seem as if it an officer in real life in the way the accident was portrayed would unfortunately not have made it but I think being this is tv and a little exaggerated but I think otherwise inspiring and touched on the a good deal of the determination and recuperation and involved a lot of what a family would go through too if an officer was hurt. I only gave it an 9 because I felt realistically the accident shown was not fully believable to have been survived. If that were the case sadly. The story could've been dealing with the aftermath of family and coworkers and what they go through which I'm sure and know has been done many times.

Police Story: Officer Dooly (1976)
Season 3, Episode 21
9/10
Hang your head high Officer Dooley!!!
25 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode as the last reviewer before me said was not your typical episode however I did like it s lot. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because I felt it was a little choppy and all over the place. Like as if each scene was written down on separate pieces of paper, tossed in the air and the Oder they fell ws the Oder they were put in. I appreciated the humor in it, and I appreciated the fact that it was not the typical episode and I love the Job that David Birney did in this episode. You almost forget what he really looks like. I might have recognized his voice but I'm not sure I would've realized who he was if not for the fact that I read the synopsis. I think one of the reasons I may have inclined to give the episode a 9 was that David Birney definitely deserved the 10 and his score is what made my general review higher than if someone else had played the part. But I also felt agreeing with all reviewers here that Officer Dooley,s work and attitude got results and many of his handling of the situations should be the way they should be handled especially today the way things are but I felt many were way too out of character to be realistic ex. Pursuing a suspect on a highway on the wrong side of the road. I would think that would definately warrant immediate questioning as far as ethical, professional and a check that he hasn't gone crazy or lost his marbles and that he immediately should have come under question with possible suspension and firing. I may have looked at the fact that this show does boast some reality to it and I do like the fact that the officers personal lives also come into play with the story lines in this police show but I did keep in mind it was very entertaining, you really wanted to say Go Officer Dooley and root for him and most of all this is "tv" and that although this story lines focus was on what's important on the way things could be handled better and they way some parts of a police officers job should be and the exaggerated and eccentric way this story played out I really don't think much of it would play out in real life or be tolerated. Although I don't claim to be knowledgeable in police procedural by any means I was the wife of a police officer in a very average everyday fairly safe town. So just from being around a lot of cops and some stories and my opinion of what woulds believable I do expect that an officer like Officer Dooley would realistically be out in his pants!!! Totally enjoyable, silly and quite honestly with the things that you hear about today with the police - I should say some because as the saying goes "there's good and bad in all people; no matter what race, religious beliefs, color etc. " and today in this case there's good and bad police; just because some police officers are bad doesn't mean they all are!!!

Partnering Siblings Really?
25 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So I like the general story line and the actors in this episode a lot like -George Maharis, Edward Albert and Cindy Williams. My big issue with this episode was that two blood relatives were partnered together and the fact that one was a rookie to be trained by the other including having to report how the rookie was doing; I can't believe , unless you were in the Hicks , olden days or there were not enough police or sheriff to not pair them together. First I thought the whole story through - they would never do this in real life I'm pretty sure even back then. The relationship between the 2 brothers was extremely juvenile and unprofessional even though they were trying to show what it's like to be both the rookie and more experienced cop. I think as far as one protecting the other there'd be no problem but my question would be could the older brother fairly judge the performance of the younger one? In one way it's possible he may have been too easy on him although in this case he was the opposite which is not terrible since it's a dangerous job but in the same token how is the rookie brother suppose to perform at his best under the pressure he was under with his brother. Not that's rookie should have it too easy by any means but no matter what the younger brother was Pershing it'd have to be difficult under the circumstances of your own brother training and testing you never mind in this setting. Honestly I don't know that it's such a great idea that family members work in the same precinct never mind partners. Unless for instance they were for instance - one being totally different job and department. I did wonder also the relationship of the brothers had to be the way it was prior to the younger brother becoming a cop and in fact the younger brother states it was - so I do question why the younger brother would've not been looking to question or pursue working in a different precinct. Did he not think ahead that himself that that was an odd partnering or his come the older brother went along with it too although I can somewhat see he may have been honored to do it, too proud of himself and it thought he was the best one to do it. All in all I'm very surprised there were not many more comments in this episode having to do with the same issue as I felt was not believeable?.

Police Story: Officer Needs Help (1975)
Season 3, Episode 1

Ehh episode slightly Disappointed!!!
25 March 2023
Seemed like it was going to be a good episode but I thought as it went along that it was too slow and not enough oomph. Love Donna Mills though. Ha ha lol I'm a Donna. But also not enough meaty content to keep you very interested. Very disappointed in the end - if left you ? If it was the end and like they ran out of time to finish the story and just chopped it off where they left off. It's funny some episodes I think are excellent and are rated ok and others I think are just ok are rated better than ok. It could be in part I'm watching these stories so many years later. I do have to say although there's storylines that have some questions on that you question - would that really be how they'd handle things I do find Police Story was more realistic than say Starsky and Hutch, The Rookies Swat or others of that time.

Sad this really happened
25 March 2023
Excellent episode. Kept me on the edge of my seat. I was confused about the synopsis IMDB listed. The main police officer I. The story reminds me of Gary Lockwood. I do recognize him as looking familiar though and he doesn't look like Gary Lockwood in his older pics.

Very sad and I didn't realize it at first that it was based on a real life true story in California in 1966 as one of the other reviewers mentioned. I won't go into any spoilers as the aforesaid reviewer did but I will say sad story for other reasons too ads you get more into the story about the lost child. One of the best episodes I've seen and I was too young to have watched when it was gist on. Just started watching Police story on cracks In past month amd I love it. I'm a retired pedi nurse once married to a police officer and an avid medical and police show liver. Even going back to my teens. Emergency, Starsky and Hutch, The Rookies and Swat were some of my favorites!!! So glad to be able to enjoy police Story now. PS also a big fan of classic tv!!!
