Star Trek: Voyager: Fury (2000)
Not as Bad as I remembered
I suppose that it's quite ironic that this episode needed to remind me that "it's not too bad" LOL.
I've always considered this to be almost as bad as the whole "Warp 10" episode, but you know what, it's really not. It's actually a touching episode and really not that bad and certainly re-watchable.
Star Trek: Voyager: The Thaw (1996)
One of the most F'ed up episodes of all of Star Trek
Absolutely creepy and one of a kind. Done well overall.
Star Trek: Voyager: Threshold (1996)
Just pretend this episode doesn't exist. I agree on that.
I love Voyager and am going through them all right now again and still love them. However, I have this episode paused at 29 seconds and will not watch it again. I watched it several years ago just to make sure it was bad as I originally thought. Yep. It is so stupid.
It's kinda like the saying to where going from A to B and you always do half the distance between them and you will never get there. THAT is the way Star Trek works. You go Warp 9, 9.9, 9.99, 9.999, etc but it's just a shorthand so that you don't have Warp 20, Warp 500, Warp 9600, etc. This episode is like saying you go from Warp 1,000 to Warp Infinite... Nope. Dumbest idea ever.
Again, I LOVE every other episode and it's one of the strongest series from first to last episode (finale is right up there with TNG's finale) but this episode deserves to sit next to the Star Wars Holiday special.
Enterprise: Acquisition (2002)
Very silly but fun
Look, this is one of those episodes you have to take as is. The reality is that they could've easily overpowered the Ferengi at numerous points and not had all of the silliness.
I also question whether or not they would've impounded the ship and taken them back to Starfleet as prisoners. Granted, rules weren't really established then, but this was more of an 80's scheme and then off your way once they foiled the scheme. I would argue that they had an obligation to take the ship, weapons, technology, etc or at least taken them apart and seen how they work.
Anyway, just take it as is and it's fun and enjoyable.
