Apache Warrior (2017)
Great Military Aviation Documentary
The documentary was well put together and told the story of the 6 - 6 Cavalry. The documentary tells of the failed mission on March 23, 2003 in support of 3 ID. The mission in itself may have failed but the miracle return of all aviators and thier aircraft was a success. Being an Iraq War Veteran myself, the documentary held a special place in my heart. Knowing what these aviators went through makes you take note of all the sacrifices and situations faced by Veterans as a whole. Highly recommend for anyone but even more so Iraq Vets.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
Extraordinarily Good Movie
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie, as I had read numerous reviews that were negative. I had to give it a chance just because it has Sean Connery staring in it. I think the movie was more enjoyable as I have read books and am familiar with the characters from other works. It may be a little odd to people who don't know anything about the characters and their abilities outside of the movie. I would enjoy watching the movie again and would reccomend giving the movie a chance if you are on the fence. If you are not familiar with the characters, read up on them as they appear in the movie.
Alone Across the Arctic (2019)
Great Solo Adventure
This documentary on a solo adventure across the Canadian arctic was amazing. From the scenery, to the commentary, to the adversity, to the perseverance, it was great from start to finish.
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Amazing WWII Action
This is one of the best WWII movies out there. While I won't say it is the best, it is definitely up there at the top. If you want a plotted action filled war movie, this is it.
