The Final Cut (2004)
Robin didn't make a good choice.
Robin Williams, our beloved comic actor chose to star in the "thriller" movie, The Final Cut. About how every moment of your life is recorded, and then some guy, (Robin Williams) aka Alan, goes through your life and tries to find some sort of meaning in it. Then, he edits all of the memories, and makes the meaning of the persons life. Makes it into a video, and shows it at the funeral. However, this happens to be very controversial. Anyways, I believe that Robin did a good job acting in this movie... but I don't think he made a good choice by choosing to act in The Final Cut. Personally, I thought it was a pretty dumb movie. Although, I guess if you look deep inside for some sort of meaning, you might just find some sort of message. Or even a point besides bogus entertainment. All in all, it wasn't worth the time I spent watching it. But, that's just my opinion.
The Happy Elf (2005)
A Great movie to make fun of.
This is a fun movie to watch. Great to laugh at. I was shocked by the amount of people who took this movie seriously. What did you expect?? But it's a hilarious film. and to take up more space because there's really nothing more to say about it... But I've gotta say, this film is great if you aren't planning to take it seriously. Have a fun joking mood inside your jolly self and you'll be laughing even after the sad and tragic ending. I'm just kidding. It has a happy ending. What kind of Christmas story would it be if it had a sad and horrible ending? But anyway, It's a fabulous movie to watch. But watch it when it nears Christmas, because then it just makes it even more special. :)
SLC Punk! (1998)
More of a Poser Movie...
It was an OK movie... if you're not into the punk scene and have no idea what it's about. This movie did a poor job explaining punk or anarchy. And personally, i don't like movies that try to explain something like punk anyways, so i guess this movie was more of an anger starter than an enjoyable experience.
It saddens me that some "punk" kids are going to watch this movie and start "sharing" the views of Heroin Bob and Steve-o. So... I guess this isn't a great movie to watch if you're into the punk scene. Either it will annoy you, or you will become someone who will go to Hot Topic and search for this movie. Either way.. it's up to you. But personally, this movie got a big thumbs down from me.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)
Original was much Better.
I expected much more out of a sequel to the great Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl. But I shouldn't have. It was difficult to follow. And it wasn't near as funny as the first. Although the special effects were great, that's about all this movie had going for it. There was really no shock value in it, except one part where some guy jumps out of a tree. Often times, I sat there confused and frustrated.
Personally, I don't think it was worth the money i spent to see it in theaters. If you really want to see this movie, rent it or borrow it from a friend.
