Emotions from Jack in his exchange with Daniel were intense showing the heart of the character. The Tokra's illogic was not addressed well as he ignored the only answer that determines Jack's actions. Then the intensity of General Hammond in addressing the Tokra later in this episode, decisive and blunt with that Texas machismo was worth a fist pump.

Twilight Zone meets MASH
15 December 2021
The inevitable and unenviable reality of dreams. The characters experience the ultimate in the emotional gamut. A exercise in cognitive dissonance guaranteed to leave a mental scar. A memorable and poignant depiction of what causes PTSD. An important episode with No laugh track, enhanced the gravitas. This will resonate!

The theater of war!?!
6 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Well done movie with a disturbing reality that proves people in powerful political positions truly believe that the ends justify the means and will go right through human flesh to save face. A sadly plausible reality. In reality Matt Damon would have met an unfortunate accident the moment he questioned the existence of WMDs.

My personal favorite. The most riveting episodes. The deepest and most endearing backstory. Genius with the temperament of an excited teenager with a mastery of affect, Incite and subtle manipulation. The perfect detective.

The number 18 seems prolific
29 October 2019
18 Emmys nominated 18 times the number of people killed in the Borg conflict 18. As I watch Star Trek more and more the number 18 especially when people die occurs and an extraordinary amount of times. Just a fun observation
Folly of absolute power is apropos
21 October 2019
The world we live in and this episode silly, strange though it may be is an appropriate depiction of how power corrupts. Whether they knew it or not their fantasy world it's very similar to what people with power create for themselves. The folly is what we see every day in politics for instance. There are some laugh out loud sequences there was a history making moment. Star Trek it's always been full of lessons I believe this lesson in this episode was important
