One of the most memorable and sexy commercials I've ever seen. This one is impossible to forget.

Charlize Theron is a legend

Let us admit that all of Theron's Dior commercials are the most iconic masterpieces of this century - her catwalk, statuesque beauty and sexy voice are extremely mesmerizing and powerful. It is probably the best decision the fashion house has made to make Theron the face of the brand, as well as let her embody the J'adore fragrance. Theron's J'adore commercials have become shared memory of people of modern time, and we are eager to see a new one every couple years!
Charlize Theron stepping out of a pool

Warning: Spoilers
"Dior J'adore: The New Absolu" is a fairly long title for this really short film that ends around the one-minute mark. Director is Romain Gavras and he has worked on quite a few different titles in the last years/decades. Don't be fooled by the one other name than Theron here, she is one of the girls at the side of the pool I think. Well, I already mentioned her and this "film" is all about South African oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron. She is in her 40s now, but still fairly stunning. And I am saying that as somebody who is generally not too much into blondes. Anyway, there is not much she does here. She stands in a pool (I guess swimming would not have been feminine enough) and then proceeds to walk out of the water before eventually moaning the words "J'adore". That felt a bit cringeworthy I cannot deny it. But these words (as well as the title) make sure this is a very short commercial for perfume manufacturer Dior. Visually, it is pretty much all in the color of gold here: Theron, the pool, the surroundings, all of that and it does not look too bad. The song that plays is fine too. I heard it before I am sure and I find it pretty catchy. So yeah, overall, not a failure and certainly better than most other commercials as it has an artistic vibe to it, even if it moves into style over substance territory on 1 or 2 moments too. My suggestion is to skip unless you are a huge Theron fan. I give it a thumbs-down as here on imdb I am not supposed to rate it as a commercial, but as a movie.
