Of all the new specials from Indian standup comics out there currently, Biswa's special is the winner. Its a well written show and feels like a proper one hour special. Some pieces should have been tighter and not as stretched as they were but overall it was good. Really liked the callbacks and Biswa touching some taboo topics. I was expecting he would explore more in some of these topics but thats just me. A stand up comic is the voice of the generation, he is the voice that brings reason to a world full of chaos, he is the one that points of hypocrisy in things and the comics in India have to travel long to reach that but Biswa is the one who is ahead than his peers on that road.

Stand up special written and performed by Biswa Kalyan Rath

Biswa has been able to hold on to the audience throughout this show. Be it his out of the box punch lines or just connecting stuff up throughout the show (also including various science jokes in between), Biswa has done the job perfectly. It's funny, interesting and the bits are not something you would have seen any other comedian do. Nothing common throughout the whole show.
A minor set back for me was his modified voice. He's speaking in kind of a maamu Mumbaiya accent throughout, which I don't think is his real accent, which you'll realize when he ends the show and speaks very normally right at the end. But I guess it's there to help make the jokes funnier, so it's all good.

This dude is my favorite stand up comedian, hands down. His combination of Sarcasm with Technical Jokes and really thought provoking humour is a mix I truly appreciate and find unique in comparison to many of his peers. His style of delivery in this one although a little bit overdone, is still funny as hell. The only reason I paid for Amazon prime is due to this guy, because "Biswa Mast Aadmi" Hai.Thanks for the Untattifying humor dude.

"How can you connect everything?! It's too surreal!" is exactly the feeling I had when watching this set. It's hands down the best stand up set I've ever seen. Neville Shah said it best when he described Biswa as raw. He drops all filters and just taps into some primal part of you while he talks. Every single line made me laugh but also made me think. Also I've never seen any other comedian, Indian or international, break the fourth wall like Biswa does. Kya mast aadmi hai. Phool on.
The Best Stand-up special.

The thing I like about this stand up: Anecdotal comedy with technology and SCIENCE jokes with proper ending. Compared to Sushy. this is fresh watch for multiple time and still does not get old ! Each set's premise is tight, well thought and strong sense of visualization. That's what Biswa actually do ! Hope he will continue to crack science based jokes.
Whatte Show

BKR (and NO, I don't mean the Bhikhari from the show), is as funny as he is confident and that just shows in his performance. Every joke just lands so perfectly. Extremely relatable content with jokes every two seconds. Great great show!
Skip this one. Biswa Mast Admi bante bante reh gaya

Needless to say, I was highly disappointed by the special. Knowing Biswa and following his stand up as well as his other work, I was really looking forward to this special; (more than Kanan Gills'). But half-way through it, I was like why is he even trying.
Forced jokes, producing forced laughter, funny at times, but never was a moment where I was laughing out loud. Didn't connect with his material at all, which was surprising because I thought I represented the audience that he catered to. Clearly not.
I hope his next special is much better.

All rounder comedy, long way to go Biswa!

Very well written and executed . I like the first person orientation of jokes. He has included everything in humour like satire, stereotypes, mimicry, blue comedy, improvisation, wit and what not. The way he starts and keeps audience engaged throughout is hilarious. Some places he has used fillers which I am sure he uses as breathing spaces. I am excited to see more stuff from him, Now the bar is higher. Everyone has life experiences but art of oration is god's gift. Best wishes Biswa.
Not So Funny

I watched few of the jokes he used in his set at a live show. The show was amazing so is this set. You can relate to the jokes he is telling you about parents point of view on sports. I always like the way he build up a joke and his jokes are getting better. This set is also pretentious about cricket enthusiasm and calculations. Mast hai ekdum!!!
Awesome content and performance
