Two comic book fans embark on an exciting quest after they discover a portal to another dimension. Director/co-writer Erica Benedikty keeps the enjoyable story moving along at a brisk pace, makes nice use of lovely countryside locations, and maintains an engaging sincere tone throughout. John Rubick and Lyon Tenbroeck display a likable natural chemistry in the lead roles. The crude cinematography, cheesy on screen computer graphics, and hokey (not so) special effects all give this micro-budget outing a certain sweet goofball charm. The opening sequence that pays tribute to "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is a real hoot. The catchy flute and synthesizer score hits the harmonic spot. A fun little romp.
