Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming CIA drama series “Lioness” at Paramount+ has added three new actors to its cast, Variety has learned exclusively.
James Jordan, Lamonica Garrett, and Dave Annable have all joined the show. All three have previously worked with Sheridan — Jordan and Annable on the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” and Garrett in the “Yellowstone” prequel series “1883.” Jordan also appeared in “1883” as well as Sheridan’s Paramount+ series “Mayor of Kingstown” and in his features “Wind River” and “Those Who Wish Me Dead.”
The three join previously announced cast members Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira.
The series is based on a real-life CIA program. Per the official logline, the show “follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within. The Office alumna Angela Kinsey has sold semi-autobiographical comedy 1-800 to TBS, I have learned. Kinsey will write 1-800, loosely based on her experiences working at a call center when she was starting out, with an eye toward co-starring as well. The workplace comedy reunites Kinsey with TBS, where she recently recurred on the comedy series Your Family Or Mine. At a loss for what to watch this week? From new DVDs and Blu-rays, to what's streaming on Netflix, we've got you covered.
New on DVD and Blu-ray
"NCIS"
'Tis the season for a ton of TV shows to come out on DVD, including "NCIS: The Twelfth Season," "NCIS: Los Angeles - The Sixth Season," and "NCIS: New Orleans - The First Season" on August 18. Have yourself a merry little "NCIS" marathon! And in case you want more details on Season 12, that Blu-ray comes with deleted scenes, audio commentary on select episodes, cast and crew interviews, and over an hour of behind-the-scenes featurettes.
"Grey's Anatomy"
The 2014-2015 season of "Grey's" -- which didn't have the happiest of endings, but oh well -- is also coming out this week. If you watch Season 11 from start to finish, knowing how it ends, maybe it'll add more pathos. Or maybe it'll just make you angrier.

Hulu won’t be following the Netflix model of full-season episode dumps of its original series, company Head of Content Craig Erwich told reporters on Sunday — all of his original programming will be released one episode per week. That now includes “The Mindy Project,” of course. “Difficult People,” “Casual,” “The Hotwives of Las Vegas,” “The Awesomes,” and “Rocketjump: The Show” are also counted among Erwich’s expanding roster. All of those — save Seth Meyers’ and Mike Shoemaker’s animated superhero cartoon “The Awesomes” — had panels Sunday at the Television Critics Association (TCA) Summer Press Tour.
