Rocksteady’s post-launch support for Batman: Arkham Knight marches on today, with the threequel’s December content pack arriving bang on schedule.
While last month’s update focused on elements featured in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice film – namely the stylized Batmobile and Ben Affleck’s monotone Batsuit – December circles back to the Caped Crusader’s prestigious archives to cherry-pick characters such as The Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Ra’s Al Ghul and Mr. Freeze.
Entitled Season of Infamy: Most Wanted, those new faces in question will be scattered across a pack of new missions for Arkham Knight, and Warner Bros. listed brief summaries of each to stoke excitement.
Wonderland: The Mad Hatter makes things personal as the supervillain lures Batman into a demented, hallucinatory battle of wits across Gotham City and within the pages of a twisted story book.

Everyone's favorite collectible toymaker, Hot Toys, has revealed their 1/6 scale figures for Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman from director Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! We already got our first look at the 1/6th scale Batmobile, but I included a new video of that below the photos of the action figures. These things are incredible, and I'd love to get my hands on them! I can't wait to see how their figure turns out for Batman in his Bat Armor!

Over the course of Batman v Superman's promo campaign, the world's gotten a peek at a couple new outfits for Ben Affleck's Batman, including a "desert" ensemble that features a dusty trench coat over the iconic Batsuit. It's a cool look, but wouldn't it get a little sweaty? (Rubber Batsuits aren't exactly known for their breathability.) Now the film's costume designer Michael Wilkinson reveals that practicality, already not a super-important aspect of superhero costumes, was really not important in this case — because the whole scene is a dream sequence. "Zack [Snyder] had a great idea of this sort of nightmare-ish vision, almost a vision of the future, a post-apocalyptic vision," Wilkinson said during a visit to Brazil Ccxp. "It’s like a dream that Ben [Affleck] has ... it has almost a Mad Max quality to it where it’s like the end of the world, trying to survive and then...

Val Kilmer is once again hitting the highway to the Danger Zone. Or at least he says he is. Kilmer, who played Iceman in the iconic 1986 film “Top Gun,” took to Facebook on Monday to announce that he’d been offered a role in the sequel to the film. And somehow, he managed to drag Gene Hackman and Francis Coppola into the conversation. Also Read: Christian Bale Wore Val Kilmer's Batsuit for His Batman Audition (Video) “I just got offered #topgun2 – not often you get to say ‘yes’ without reading the script…” Kilmer wrote, before launching into perhaps not the only imaginary scenario.

It's been a while since we first saw Batfleck in full getup and attire. It feels so long ago at this point that it's hard to remember a time when we were all sitting around wondering what they'd do with the character next. Back in late-2013, writer/director/podcaster Kevin Smith revealed his first impressions on his sneak peek of the Batsuit while on his podcast Hollywood Babble-On, and I remember how much I wanted to know what Smith had seen to make him react that way.
“I saw the Batman costume. More than that, I saw a picture of [Ben Affleck] in the costume…I don’t want to give anything away ’cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this…I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]. It is being reported that the Batsuit in the new “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be mostly CGI.
In the December issue of Total Film, it’s been revealed that Ben Affleck needed to have the ability to move around, especially during fight scenes. What was the obvious solution? Something called ‘visual effects pajamas’.
Affleck states, “You can move freely, and they can put [the suit] on digitally… It’s a little more humiliating to wear, but it’s easier for the digital effects guys. You can see who the priority is,” as he joked.
Several suits in the previous DC movies like “Man of Steel” were also CGI. Fans have complained that the fight scenes looked too much like a video game. The editors of the new “Batman v Superman” have a lot of expectations to fill while editing the film.

It’s an age old argument among comic book fans; who should win in a fight between Batman and Superman? There are those that believe Batman – despite having no superpowers – has the advantage because he’s smarter, while others maintain that Superman could wipe the Caped Crusader away with a single blast of his heat vision.
However, it’s the fact that Superman would never actually do that which gives Batman the advantage, a sentiment echoed by Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder in a recent interview.
“The advantage that Batman has is the goodness of Superman. The compliance to fair lay that Superman has…Batman knows how to exploit Superman.”
In other words, Batman fights dirty, and he’ll be doing so in Batman V Superman with the use of an armoured suit, which rumour has it is laced with Kryptonite to even the playing field between the two heroes.

There's a fine art to dancing around the details of a hugely anticipated blockbuster and still stoking excitement, and simply running out of things to say, and it seems Zack Snyder has run into the latter category lately. With five months to go until "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" arrives, plenty of secrets are still under wraps, which has left the director talking about the Batmobile and Batsuit, which isn't the most involving thing in the world to read about. "The new Batmobile is super fast and is purpose built which I like. We imagine that Batman built it over time, you know, with parts from Wayne Industries or something. He's made it specifically for the job of fighting crime," he told IGN. "I'm not gonna give it away, but it does a lot of cool stuff in the movie..." Like I said, it's not the most scintillating revelation.

The biggest complication with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is that of the hopelessly one-sided nature of any such battle between the two. For all Batman's armor and size, one punch from Superman could effectively squash the Caped Crusader like a pancake.
Today, photos of a toy tie-in for the movie seems to answer that question - revealing a potentially major spoiler about one of the film's biggest sequences.
Potential Major Spoiler Ahead
The new photos, which come from Eurobricks, are of officially licensed Lego sets that tie into the film. In one such set though we see Batman using a gun that shoots Kryptonite bullets.
Lego sets do sometimes embellish aspects of the storyline, but these sets are otherwise very close to what we've seen so far including part of the Batcave, the new Batsignal and Batmovile, and figures and vehicles that tie back to LexCorp. Wonder Woman...

With New York Comic-Con taking place this weekend, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be there in force, with con goers being given the chance to check out the costumes worn by the Trinity of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. DC Entertainment have released a new video that sheds light on each ones creation, with designer Michael Wilkinson dropping neat little details about them, from the Krytonian script woven into the fabric of Superman’s suit to the comics that inspired the new Batsuit. Also, be sure to check some pretty awesome concept from the movie below. Released: March 26th 2016 Released: Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. Exclusive: the makers of Warner's 2018 movie of The Flash are going for a "tech-based" costume for its speedy superhero, we've learned...
The CW's TV incarnation of DC Comics' The Flash may be a ratings hit, but it's not the only version of the superhero in the works.
Warner Bros is currently putting together a movie of The Flash as part of its growing DC Extended Universe, which began with Man Of Steel in 2013 and will continue with next year's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
The Flash isn't out until 2018, which means it's rather too early for Warner to begin the drip-feed of early images and other details we've enjoyed with the likes of Wonder Woman, which is scheduled for release in 2017. What we currently know is that Ezra Miller is in the lead as The Flash himself, and that screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith is making his debut as director on the movie.

There was a lot to absorb from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer released on Saturday, from badass shots of Wonder Woman to confirmation that Robin (presumably Jason Todd) is dead in this universe. However, there was one moment that stuck out as…particularly unusual. We see Batman wearing desert-ready Batgear (here’s hoping we get a Scuba Batsuit next) and fighting a group of gun-toting operatives wearing the Superman symbol, the ones we saw in April’s teaser kneeling in front of Superman. Unfortunately for the Dark Knight, his adversaries seem to have the upper hand. If you want a closer look at the desert suit, photographer Clay Enos, the same guy who shot the first picture of the Batmobile, posted this picture of Ben Affleck in the uniform. #Repost @cruelfilms ・・・ That was fun Photo by @clayenos A photo posted by Clay ...

If you watched the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer that came our way over the weekend, you may have scratched your head slightly at the sight of Batman in the desert, wearing a very different Batsuit, complete with trench coat and goggles, moments before he was taken down by a group of soldiers with Superman’s symbol on their uniforms. It was a bit odd to say the least. Anyway, photographer Clay Enos has revealed a close up image of Ben Affleck in the suit (personally, I thought it would be someone else under the cowl, ala The Dark Knight, or even the Batmen of Many Nations from the comics, his legend inspiring normal people to take the mantle), which comic fans will not is very similar to his look in Gotham by Gaslight, the first entry in DC Comics’ Elseworlds series, which imagined alternate version of their famous heroes.

Ben Affleck knows what you thought when he was cast as Batman — because he thought it, too. "My style icons are Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Superman and Kanye West." So says Jaden Smith, who is included in GQ's list of the "20 Most Stylish Men Alive." Perhaps his answer isn't all that surprising, given that Smith wore a white Batsuit to West's wedding to Kim Kardashian in May 2014 (and again to prom in 2015). Speaking of the two events, why did the 16-year-old After Earth actor choose to dress like a superhero? "I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so," he says. It’s one of the most hotly anticipated films of next year, so of course the Batman V Superman trailer was going to be watched, rewatched and rewatched again by fans when it hit last month. This was to be the first glimpse of Ben Affleck taking on the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, of the new Batsuit, and of any other bits of various Bat-hardware Warner Bros. had decided to allow fans to see at this early stage.
The trailer got a mixed response, but the mission was successful: it teaser managed to stir up some serious excitement. And that’s without most people even noticing some of the huge Easter eggs hidden in the less obvious facets of the trailer.

Apparently, The Joker's taking Batman for a ride in "Suicide Squad."
Earlier this week, footage from the set of the DC Comics supervillains movie showed the Batmobile chasing the Jokermobile down the streets of Toronto. Now, there's even more video - this time showing Batman himself, crouching down on the roof of the Joker's flame-red car.
Of course, that's probably not Ben Affleck in the Batsuit for this scene - it's likely a stunt double. But the video seems to triple-confirm that Affleck's Batman will make an appearance in "Suicide Squad." The rumors first started when the actor was spotted on the Toronto set dressed more like Bruce Wayne. It makes sense that Batman would pop up in the latter movie, which heavily features Jared Leto's The Joker. Wherever The Joker goes, so goes Batman.
Affleck will first play the Caped Crusader in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" next March.
