Home invasion and comedy — these two things probably sound genuinely horrible together. After all, there’s nothing remotely funny about psychopaths breaking into someone’s house and doing horrible things to them. However, writer/director Jason Kupfer’s short film Invaders manages to… Continue Reading →

Ah, American Thanksgiving, a time for reflection, expressions of gratitude, and two inept home burglars. Jason Kupfer's short Invaders has played at more than 100 festivals over the past year (including Fantastic Fest, FrightFest, Morbido, and Beyond Fest), and rightly so. It's a slam dunk of a film, a great joke played by two very funny actors (Ricky Wayne and Jordan Woods-Robinson) and directed with great joy, with no holding back on the blood. It's been selected for Eli Roth's Crypt TV and Short of the Week. And now, it's available for your viewing pleasure as well. Happy Turkey Day! (Though you might not want to be eating when you watch it)....

If you're looking to be entertained for the next five minutes, you need to watch this hilarious blood-filled horror comedy called Invaders. The story takes place on Thanksgiving night and it follows two men as they attempt to invade a home and murder a family with axes. Things don't quite turn out the way that they hoped.
The short film was directed by Jason Kupfer, and he and his team did a fantastic job bringing this amusing story to life for us to enjoy. This thing had me busting up with laughter.
Invaders is a dark-comedy/horror spin on home invasion films. It takes place on Thanksgiving night, which is why we're releasing it next week. It's kind of our awkward Thanksgiving gift to the internet.
The short has screened at several film festivals over the years including Fantastic Fest, Slamdance, and FilmQuest. A huge thanks to the director for...
