"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." ~Dr. Seuss Warning: Spoilers
This was the best conclusion to a show I have ever watched. Full of a ton of emotion, and the fact that Anne's drunk rambling (from Adventures in Catsitting) was foreshadowing this whole time when she said "DoMiNo IsN't JuSt A cAt, sHe'S tHe aLpHa AnD oMeGa, an inter-dimensional being behind ALL time AnD sPaCe..." shook me! I was shocked when Anne sacrificed herself for the gems, but thank goodness she was alive. The goodbyes were sad though, but it was a good way to end the series, and fun to see the girls all grown up. Thank you Amphibia, for everything. We will miss you for infinity and beyond.

Absolutely perfect. Best episode Disney has ever produced in their story. Everything wrapped up perfectly and definitely the best finale this story could have.

A Masterpiece of a Finale
AshGreninjaRules15 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Amphibia has always been a show about change, about its inevitability and about how, even though it hurts like nothing else, it's all for the better. That comes front and center in this finale, one where the characters we've grown to love finally accept that change. The ending time-skip is so powerful because of that focus on change: just because the girls will never come back to Amphibia doesn't mean that they haven't left their mark on the people of Amphibia. They remember them, and they move on in their name. Likewise, the girls can never come back to Amphibia, but the lessons they learned about themselves and each other will never be forgotten, lessons that they have grown from.

Change is the hardest thing for anyone to accept because no one wants it. No one wants to leave behind everything they care about. But it happens nonetheless, and we've just got to rest assured that, to quote Anne, the things that really matter will always find a way back to us.

Thank you, Amphibia.

Perfect finale

Warning: Spoilers
Just about everything made me wanna sob. The part where all 3 girls were leaving were so heartbreaking especially when Andrias felt super guilty of what he did to Marcy and couldn't even bear to face her. The epilogue was also very amazing. I love that we finally got to see the trio get their powers which gave me and everyone else mega chills.

What even can I say about these series.
panoskonidis15 May 2022
Amphibia has been spectacular, breathtaking, amazing, funny, heartwarming etc.... I can't express enough how satisfying this episode is. In fact the last 2 episodes of the series ("All In", "The Hardest Thing") and "True Colors" really were some of the most phenomenal episodes I've ever seen of any animated show ever.

I really have no words to transfer my happiness about this show to you. The finale made me so emotional and of coure, I cried... Please PLEASE do yourself a favour and watch Amphibia. And for some OG fans, for me Amphibia is the closest thing we've had to Gravity Falls since it ended in 2016.

Warning: Spoilers
Omg where do I even start?! I have so many positive things to say! The ending is beautiful with the girls being 10 years older and reuniting. Anne sacrificing herself is something I would never see in a show on Disney Channel? And everything concluded so so very perfectly!!! Watch Amphibia Right Now! This finale got me sobbing on the floor.

I balled my eyes out. An absolute masterclass in how to tell both a heartfelt character-development-based story and a sweeping epic story at the same time. What a wonderful show.

Animation at its finest
masdcollins-1564315 May 2022
I've never written a review on IMDB before. Frankly, I'm not sure what people usually write in these, but this was too special not to remark on. Amphibia is one of the greatest and most unique animated shows of the 21st century. It easily falls among the ranks of Regular Show, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Phineas and Ferb, and Gravity Falls. The question always then becomes, how do you end a show as great as these. In the case of all the shows I previously listed, you make a masterpiece. Amphibia is no different. There has never been an episode of animated television that has impacted me in the way this episode has. Perhaps it is due to the state of life I'm currently in, but the Amphibia finale is perhaps the single greatest episode of animated television I've ever seen (or at least shares the top spot with a few other episodes). Without spoiling it, The Hardest Thing accomplishes everything you want in a finale. Epic magnitude, provocative conversations, delightful humor, and more emotional moments that frankly I've ever felt due to a tv show before. Thank you Matt Braly. Thank you for what you have created and given to the animation world. I and all of Amphibia's fans appreciate you and your work.

Best Series Finale Ever
mcwolfiegames15 May 2022
What more can I say? Matt Braly is an absolute master at story telling. The entire crew deserves so much praise for this absolutely masterful ending. IMDB only allows up to 10 stars, but if I could, I would rate this 13/10.

Bawled my eyes out watching this and it was amazing. There are some pacing issues and it could've been better but I could not care less. This was one of the best finales I've ever seen on television and it emotionally ruined me.

I can't describe it, and I just thank Matt Braaly for making us memorable memories. The most instructive cartoon that taught us only during adventure and war and mystery. Again, thanks to Matt Berley and all the guards and.

Wow.

Warning: Spoilers
I've never seen an ending like that...

This is undoubtedly one of the best animated shows of all time...

Everything even Anne's resurrection made sense. And they didn't do it in a "You're made out of a statue but we're gonna cry so you wake up" trope filled way... she got to be alive again for being good. I've never seen any media do that trope like amphibia. God this show is amazing...

And how they didn't stay friends in the end is realistic. That much trauma and splitting of interests makes complete sense why they all stopped communicating with eachother.

Just wow...

A Great conclusion to the series
gamingwithparker15 May 2022
This was probably one of the best finales in history. It was extremely well written, and was very sad at parts, which is good(not saying sad things happening are always good, I'm just saying that in a finale for a show like this there should be sad moments). Overall this was the second best episode in the series behind All In.

💣Amphibia ending spoilers💣

Goodbye Amphibia, you have one place in my empty heart... I have depression because the final of amphibia... and ended up in a nice, beautiful way with Sprig and Anne hugging each other, and 10 years later Anne grew up and talking about coming of age, and Sprig looking at Anne's statue and going on an adventure with Ivy...

Perfect way to finish this show
ayelukaseduardo16 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
*Spoiler Free* Now I'm not exactly saying that this finale was "perfect" in a technical sense. Yes there's flaws, it was sometimes a bit rushed, blah blah blah. Honestly I don't care about that. I know people like to focus on that in finales when they are done well but I also think the focus should be on how the story itself concludes. I think Amphibia concluded perfectly.

*Spoilers* Having the two worlds be separated in the end, I think, is much better than if we saw them still be able to go to both worlds. Side note before I say what I like about that, I also think it's a smart choice because technology like that is dangerous and who knows what humans would do to amphibia and vice versa. Anyway, I think keeping the worlds separated gave the opportunity to deliver such a powerful and valuable lesson to the audience. I know the show is technically intended to be for kids, but I believe the message works for any age group. Things change. That's life. And sadly we can't always control that. Throughout this series we have seen how much the maim trio of best friends have changed, and it hasn't all been for the better. In the end they must leave and go on with their lives. Again that's how life is. We want things to stay the same like they used to be but as we see, Marcy still moved away and Sasha and Anne ended up not being super close in high school. It's very realistic to see this happen in real life. This, along with seeing how they have to accept leaving Amphibia and saying by to the people they grew close with, is what I love about this ending. The message is so clear but it also hurts. We don't like seeing things change but we must accept it and move on. The best we can do is remember the times we had. They never forget about Amphibia, and Amphibia never forgets about them. It is a heavy and sad thing to see happen, but I'm glad to see it nonetheless because I find it valuable and important to show to anyone. I feel the whole point of the show would be a bit muddled if in the end they went back but could still visit Amphibia.

All in all I loved this finale even though it absolutely broke me and had me crying throughout almost all of it😅.

why no portal ? where is my portal visit?
svenappelmann20 June 2022
I know change is the ending theme ,,,,but the fact they will never meet each other again despite the fact that 2 different scientist created portals to other worlds ,,one of them even to Amphibia and within in the same season in just couple of days, weeks tops and the 1st one was working without magic, just normal office-ish-lab electricity ..is just ...its just no ....its almost insulting ...i enjoy most of it but boy does the 10 year time-skip ending not know what happened within its own show,,, in my head cannon Anne is now part time Ambassador to Amphibia on behalf of Mr X. And the US. Government because otherwise i will lose way too many braincells ....luckily the time-skip is more like an end credits thing so i can mostly ignore it and give the episode a solid 9/10 ....it is still a very good show.

The Perfect Finale.
cuteboyyt-3769315 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I honestly didn't have these expectations going into this episode, but, it's amazing. It starts with the moon getting possessed by the core. Then Anne, Sasha, and Marcy, team up and kill the core once and for all. Spoilers Ahead: Anne dies. Well, kinda, I won't say anything else so you guys and figure it out. I cried, I legit cried watching this episode. 10/10 100% recommend this episode, but the whole show.

juliannas-645695 June 2022
This episode is outstanding and it's a perfect Bittersweet conclusion for the ending of the show. The final message really hits hard and seeing where all the characters end up it's pretty awesome. It was way better than Cleaved and i will miss this show so much.

-Thank You Amphibia for this 3 years of a emotional rollercoaster.

"It can be the hardest thing to realize you can't hold on to something forever. Sometimes, you have to let it go..." - Anne Boonchuy

Warning: Spoilers
Amphibia has the perfect ending.

The prophecy shown since the very start of the series finally came to pass and resulted in a phenomenal scene with beautiful animation and an incredible soundtrack. The animation and soundtrack are amazing throughout the episode, but this scene in particular stood out just above the others.

Anne's sacrifice, followed by her interaction with The Guardian, showcases summarizes Anne's character arc perfectly. Not to mention, the brilliant foreshadowing from the early season 3 episode "Adventures in Catsitting".

Shortly after came the goodbyes: Marcy to Lady Olivia, General Yunan (Scourge of the Sand Wars, Defeater of Ragnar the Wretched, and the youngest newt to ever achieve the rank of general in the great Newtopian army), and even King Andrias, along with Sasha to Grime, and Anne to the Plantars. They were all beautifully done. While reception has been mixed about this part of the ending, I think it was perfect. Keeping the stones intact could have led to potential future risks of people abusing its power. Along with this, it was far less cliché and fit more with the shows overall theme of change.

The glimpse into the future (6 months for Amphibia, 10 years for the trio) was also great. Everybody was able to accomplish great things both on Amphibia and Earth.

Overall, a perfect ending that will deliver a rollercoaster of emotions. Thank you Amphibia, for everything.

Made me cry
ImBoreddddd23 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Only hopping on at the episode True Colors, I grew so much along with the characters and when it ended. I cried. When Sprig goes up to convince Anne to not use the stones power and when the time skipped 10 years I cried harder and harder. I ended quick but made the most out of it.

A well-executed conclusion
jamesurech15 May 2022
This episode does a really good job tying up a lot of the lessons and stories that the show has built up throughout its run. If you've fallen in love with these characters, then this episode will put you through the wringer. Even for more casual viewers, the episode hits its emotional beats rather well.

My biggest gripe with this episode is that the main conflict at the beginning feels a little bit contrived and detached from everything else that's happened. I also think it could have benefited from having a 44-minute runtime like "All-in," giving the show more time to send off its characters. It's not a deal breaker, though, and the rest of it is sure to meet or exceed your expectations.
