Best episode ever.
m-rugen9 August 2009
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet and I'm literally going to give nothing away. I don't care who reads this or not and who cares. But this episode was by far the best episode of True Blood I have ever seen. Hands down. It literally had everything. The episode was generated and put together to perfection and then distributed to us in absolutely nothing short of perfection. Sookie, Jason, Bill, and Eric were all amazing and now we finally see Godric in his own and he was outstanding. He was so gangsta and so ill, nobody can mess with him. He will FSU. Next week is going to be so ill, and I won't say why, for obvious reasons. Happy viewings!

A tasty meal!

Warning: Spoilers
The previous episode ended with the vampire Godric stopping the man who was attacking Sookie, we did not however know what his intentions to her were though; thankfully he had no intention of harming her or anybody else, not even the members of the church who had planned to kill him. We also learn that Jason is all right as the gun he was shot with only fire paint-balls. Once they have all escaped from the church it is time to return to Godric's place for a party; here Sookie meets Bills maker, it is safe to safe they take a dislike to each other. Back in Bon Temps Sam finds Daphne's body in the fridge at his bar; he calls the police but finds they arrive before he can finish the call. He is arrested for her murder. Eggs tells Tara that he has had another blackout but before they can establish why Maryann comes round with her 'hunter's soufflé; as they enjoy it they don't realise it contains Dephne's heart!

This was another enjoyable episode; it was good to see Sookie safe again; I didn't expect Godric to be so non-violent, Allan Hyde does a good job in the role keeping the character mysterious. It was a nice shock to see Tara and Eggs eating their meal; I can't wait to see their reactions when they learn they ate a human heart.

Intolerance

Warning: Spoilers
Godric kills Gabe and Eric arrives after; Cedric orders him to take Sookie with him without killing humans. Sarah actually shot Jason with a paint-ball gun and he returns to the church to rescue his sister. Meanwhile people that are locked-in evacuate the church and the Soldiers of God chase the vampire inside the building. Eric offers himself to be sacrificed in place of Godric, but a group of vampires leaded by Stan arrives in the church ready to eliminate the humans. However, Godric arrives and avoids the bloodshed, offering peace to the stubborn and intolerant Steve that does not accept. Eggs tells Tara that he had another blackout. Sam receives a phone call from Merlotte's and finds Daphne's body without her heart in the refrigerating chamber. But it is a setup and he is arrested by Sheriff Bud Dearborne. Maryann cooks the dish Hunter's Soufflé using Daphne's heart and serves the dish to Tara and Eggs. Jessica discovers that she died virgin and her hymen restores after the intercourse. There is a reception for vampires and humans at Godric's house and the uninvited Luke comes wearing a bomb with silver.

"Timebomb" is another good episode of this series. Godric is a vampire that understands the harm his breed did to the human race in the past and intends to keep vampires and humans peacefully coexisting. However, the prejudice and intolerance of Steve Newlin does not accept this situation. Sam is trapped while Tara and Eggs eat Daphne's heart. The funny part of the show is Jessica that can not lose her virginity. My vote is eight.

S2.E8 - Time Bomb [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S2. E8) My Live Reaction / Review for True Blood Season 2 Episode 8 ''Timebomb''. Episode 7 was good and I gave it a rating of 9.6/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Gotta love how crazy Steve is, its funny. I wonder when Eggs and Tara will realize how evil Maryann is. Daphne is dead and I like it. Why Maryann takes the hearts of her victims though? So Maryann is a murderer and a cannibal, ready to eat Daphne's heart, that's disturbing. Maryann made Tara and Eggs eat the heart, disgusting. They should have killed Newlin, this man will never stop what he is doing. I don't understand what Lorena wants from Bill, is she just jealous of Sookie? Overall this was a great episode, my rating is 9/10.

Lorena crying...Tammy Faye Baker x 10
skay_baltimore23 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Right before Godric kills Gabe, Gabe appeals to him as if they're familiar with one another.

It turns out Sarah didn't shoot Jason with a gun; she shot him with a paint gun.

Hoyt and Jessica experience major coitus interruptus, thanks to Beeeel.

Sam finds Daphne 86'd, with her heart cut out, in the walk-in fridge. Before he can even report it to the sheriff's office there are sheriffs already there at Merlotte's.

Jason breaks in on Steve as he's holding Eric in chains. Stan and a group of vampires come in to kill everyone holding Sookie and Eric hostage. Then Godric arrives and tells them all to leave.

And Martha Stewart...move over girlfriend...you ain't tried nutthin' til you tried Maryann's Hunter's Soufle! (And if you don't believe me...just ask Tara and Eggs.) And speaking of Tara and Eggs...after eating the soufle...Tara gets her eggs a bit scrambled in one of the more disturbing scenes so far.

And curses of all curses...Jessica is going to be a virgin forever...since her hymen keeps growing back/healing, cause that's what vampires do -- they heal.

And now, instead of arresting Jason for no reason, they arrested Sam. For no reason. This aspect of the show is getting old. Been there...seen that.

Godric laments the fact that vampires haven't evolved much over the millennia, resulting in the current wave of vampire hatred.

And Lorena....HAVE SOME PRIDE, will ya?!!! Geeesh. Suck it up sister. And let Bill go. Maybe your mascara isn't running all over the place, but that all those blood tears make you look like a pathetic Tammy Faye Baker MESS!!!

Luke...or should I call him Nuke...arrives at the party with a big surprise. EVERYONE DUCK!!!!!!!!
