Solid and enjoyable adventure, 11 December 2010
Author: antonjsw1 from United Kingdom

After a solid start, this re-cut version for DVD of Sean Patrick Flannery's second outing is a very strong story, with some amusing moments and some bold political commentary for a family oriented TV movie.

In this outing Flannery and his sidekick Remy, played by the late Ronny Coutteure visit Northern Ireland and then London. The story is amusing as the two characters, who stow away on an Ocean Liner end up working in a Dublin pub to earn enough money to get another boat on to England. While in Ireland, they meet poet Sean O'Casey, well played by John Lynch in the middle of the Easter Uprising in Dublin, which is well realised and emotionally involving. Indy and Remy then move on to England where Indy falls for a young feminist Vicky Prentiss, played well by a young Elisabeth Hurley, and the two meet up with historical both Winston Churchill (amusing played by Julian Fellows), Sylvia Pankhurst (Kika Markham), a turn by Vanessa Redgrave. and a return for Indy's teacher (another excellent performance), played by Margaret Tyzack. This part of the story has a poignant and thoughtful ending that sets up Indy for the next series of adventures.

Very enjoyable and thoughtful outing.
