Storyline
Plot Summary |
When established star Joan Crawford was paired in a film with earthy newcomer Clark Gable, a torrid extramarital affair ensued which translated into a tempestuous relationship that threatened to burn down Hollywood. But, the threat of a scandal had studio chief L.B. Mayer forbid the affair, which finally mellowed into an intimate friendship that would endure three marriages and the death of Carole Lombard.
