Strange things are afoot in West Hollywood, or at least that’s the case in the new thriller “Kiss Me, Kill Me,” about a grisly murder and a search for justice. After Dusty (Van Hansis) confronts his boyfriend Stephen (Gale Harold) about his frequent infidelity, he blacks out, only to wake up and discover that Stephen has been murdered. Now, everyone’s looking to Dusty as the prime suspect. The film also stars Brianna Brown (“Devious Maids”), Yolonda Ross (“The Get Down”), Jai Rodriguez (“Queer Eye”), Matthew Ludwinski (“Going Down in La-la Land”), Craig Robert Young (“The Last Ship”), Kit Williamson (“Mad Men”), Jonathan Lisecki (“Gayby”) and more. Watch an exclusive trailer for the film below.

A few things surprised me about last night’s Supernatural, not the least of which was the train of feels it brought with it. It’s easy to forget these days that some of the writers on this show aren’t completely brain dead. (My apologies to the brain dead community. This episode was a perfect example of just how not brain-dead they can be sometimes.
If you recall, last time we saw the Winchesters, they weren’t exactly in a good place. One of them had just killed Kevin, their prophet friend, while under the influence of less than angelic forces and the other was powerless to stop him, having realized too late that they weren’t in Kansas anymore and that wasn’t his brother behind the wheel (how’s that for mixing metaphors, song lyrics, and movie lines?).
This episode picked up not long after, with Dean...

Today we are changing it up a bit by aiming our focus on a Grammy-winning popfolk sensation who has created quite an impressive catalog of songs in his decade in the spotlight - some of his best work in live shows in lieu of studio albums, making him an ideal fit for this particularly performance-based column - the geek in the pink himself, Mr. Jason Mraz. This week marks the release of his new Ep, titled Live Is A Four Letter Word, which acts as the appetizer to his much-awaited follow-up to the incredibly successful We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things - which featured his biggest hit to date, Im Yours along with the Grammy-winning Best Pop Duet, Lucky, which was also featured on Season Two of Glee - Love Is A Four Letter Word. Four letters or more, Mraz proves time and time again he is a master storyteller with an unmistakable,...

This week: Who’s really the most powerful gay guy in the world? Is Mark “Money for Nothing” Knopfler homophobic?
Have a question about gay male entertainment? Contact me here (and be sure and include your city and state and/or country!
Q: Recently, I've been reading about the movie Role/Play starring real-life boyfriends Matthew Montgomery and Steve Callahan and it got me thinking about gay-themed movies in which the gay leads, romantic or otherwise, are portrayed by openly gay actors. So far I've come up with seven other movies: Adam & Steve, Back Soon, Eating Out 3, A Four Letter Word, Long Term Relationship, Save Me, and Shortbus. Are there any others out there? -- Aaron, Chicago
A: There are surprisingly few.
Generally speaking, the lower the budget, the more likely the actors are to be gay and out. Why? Well, not to be unkind to some very talented indie actors,...

Los Angeles — Charlie David, star of the popular series Dante’s Cove and the recent feature Mulligans, is slated to star in the independent film Judas Kiss, the movie’s producers announced today.
David will play the role of Zachary Wells, a washed-up filmmaker who returns to his peculiar alma mater, where he meets his younger self and gets the chance to change his troubled past so he can avoid a disturbing future.
Judas Kiss is the first feature film from director J.T. Tepnapa, who has won many international
awards for his short films, including the multiple award-winning parody of 1950s teen health films, Masturbation: Putting the Fun Into Self-Loving, the comedy Drag Queen Heist and the drama about homeless youth, Begging for Change.
“I’m excited to work with such a multi-talented entertainer,” Tepnapa said.
“Charlie’s experience in front of and behind the camera will add so much to Judas Kiss’ production values.

Embrem Entertainment will produce the comedy "Bye Bye, Fruit Fly," spinning off several of the characters from the company's gay-themed movies "Slutty Summer" and "A Four Letter Word."
The film will be the third collaboration between writer Jesse Archer and director Casper Andreas, who collaborated on the two previous films.
Andreas also will reprise the role of Luke, whom he played in the first two films. The story centers on a female character named Audrey, who attempts to leave her gay friends behind as she seeks a man of her own.
Having raised half of the project's $200,000 budget, the filmmakers are eying a production start in May.
Embrem is also producing the dramedy "Going Down in La-la Land," based on the book by Andy Zeffere, which Andreas also will direct.
The company also has picked up worldwide distribution rights to "The Big Gay Musical," which it will play at film festivals in the summer.
