  Lieutenant Tuvok : Dr. Vatm, why did you try to launch without us?

  Lieutenant Tuvok : Does it have to do with the discovery you made about the asteroids?

  Hanjuan : [Vatm's silence infuriates Hanjuan]  Answer him or I'll throw you out myself!

  Lieutenant Tuvok : Compose yourself, Mr. Hanjuan. Once we return to Voyager we will find...

  Hanjuan : [interrupting]  Who put you in command?

  Lieutenant Tuvok : This rescue mission was authorized by the captain of my ship and the ambassador of your government.

  Hanjuan : I say we throw Vatm out the door. We could use the extra oxygen.

  Lieutenant Tuvok : If you are trying to intimidate me, I should inform you that, as a Vulcan, I possess physical strength many times your...

  [Hanjuan lunges at Tuvok, who easily stays his hand but doesn't let go of it, deciding it may be better to show Hanjuan rather than tell him how strong a Vulcan is by bringing him to his knees] 

  Lieutenant Tuvok : It is going to be a long and perilous journey. As such, I will need your full cooperation. Understood?

  Hanjuan : [through gritted teeth]  Yeah.

  [Tuvok releases his vice-like grip, much to Hanjuan's relief] 

  Lieutenant Tuvok : [Tuvok gives him one last departing look and moves over to Neelix, who's trying to pilot the damaged carriage]  Mechanical glitches would seem to be the least of our problems.

  [Neelix can only agree with that assessment] 

• Neelix : I've got a funny feeling about this.

  Lieutenant Tuvok : I am not interested in your funny feeling.

  Neelix : You're not listening to what I'm saying.

• Neelix : I'll tell you who's being emotional. You! You hide it beneath that Vulcan calm, but the truth is you're filled with contempt and sarcasm, and I'm tired of being the target of all your hostility!

  Lieutenant Tuvok : You are mistaken.

  Lillias : No, he's not. I can see it every time you talk to Neelix. You're dismissive and condescending.

  Lieutenant Tuvok : You are projecting your own emotional bias onto my actions. I have no feelings toward Mr. Neelix.

  Neelix : That's right! That's exactly what I'm talking about! You have no feelings for me, but you have feelings AGAINST me!
