It was exactly this episode that made me wanted to watch the Simpsons!

Warning: Spoilers
I remember when I saw this episode for the first time and it was exactly this episode were I became hooked to the Simpsons. Yes I know it's an episode that's outside the golden seasons of the Simpsons but if it wasn't for this episode I would not be so interested to the Simpsons i believe. I don't understand why there aren't any reviews here?! I think this episode is a classic. OK I know that some of you might disagree with me but trust me it's probably the best episode of season 13.

Anyway the plot is about after an inspiration from a cartoonist the children (especially Bart) becomes inspired to create their own cartoons. Of course Bart really wanted to try, after failing his first idea Stan Lee suggest that he should keep trying until he fulfill his goal. After Bart trying to find inspirations he finally finds one inspirations and that is: Homer. And creates Angry Dad who is based upon Homer when Homer gets mad as hell.

One heck of an episode, it has great jokes and a look at how the Internet became popular back in the time when we thought the Internet would never be a popular place to be in. Of course this episode is almost 11 years can you believe it? The appearance of Stan Lee is probably my favorite guest star on the Simpsons. This episode is flawless and too bad it's the only good episode on the 13th season IMO.

An Average Episode with Moments of Brilliance
santifersan13 September 2023
"I Am Furious Yellow" is an episode of The Simpsons that falls into the category of being rather average. However, there is one shining moment within it that makes it worth watching-the segment titled "The Boring World of Niels Bohr." This part of the episode stands out offering a glimpse of the show's unique humor.

I don't think it's the best of season 13 as some claim; there are quite a few better episodes, like "Weekend at Burnsie's.

Throughout the episode, there are some other humorous moments and one-liners that provide chuckles, although they may not reach the same level of brilliance as "The Boring World of Niels Bohr." One memorable scene involves Ralph Wiggum drawing his own face, which adds a touch of absurdity to the mix.

While "I Am Furious Yellow" may not rank among the season's absolute best episodes, in my opinion, it's worth checking out for the aforementioned moments that capture the essence of The Simpsons' humor.

Back on form

Hooray. After a few dud episodes the 13th series of the show finds a bit of form again, with this nice episode in which Homer unwittingly becomes the star of an online cartoon authored by Bart.

With a nice Stan Lee cameo, and some nice jokes about comic books/cartoon making, this was a much better episode.
