It has some nice twists and surprises.

This episode of "Hawaii Five-O" features a guest appearance by Milton Seltzer--one of the most recognizable actors from the 1960s and 70s but whose name few would remember. He had played in a few previous episodes of the series, but here he was not a bit actor but the most importance guest on the show. If you look at his IMDb entry, it's impressive--he guest starred in at least 1830340123491 different shows during this era.

The show begins with a travel agent being beaten to death. It was intended as a warning to the agent's partner (Seltzer)--a man who organizes junkets to Vegas and South Korea for gamblers. Meantime, a client of Seltzer loses $120,000 and the mob-backed casino owner is ready to kill Seltzer if he doesn't manage to get the guy to pay for his notes--and so far, the jerk refuses. So, now the mob in Hawaii AND South Korea are gunning for Seltzer and he goes to Five-O for help. Where it all goes after that is filled with TONS of surprises--so many that I will say no more, as I don't want to spoil it for you.

Well-written, interesting and filled with great twists, this is an excellent episode of an excellent series. Watch it.

Convoluted

The 5-0 team is drawn into a complex struggle of gambling syndicates after a local syndicate murders the partner of a man who arranges traveling junkets to the Far East.

In the Far East, a supposed wealthy man loses a bundle and tears up his marker. The man running the junkets is left on the hook to either get the man to pay up, or pony up $120,000 himself, Of course, he doesn't have that much money.

Then the "wealthy man" winds up over the balcony of his penthouse apartment and things get even more series. Two murders and now three players in a high risk game of who can stab each other in the back first and best.

Great episode.
