The first villain presented

Wow after more than 10 years of watching this episode.. I saw it again and my God this episode was well written. And don't get me started on the chemistry and character development here.. Booth is more at ease with the team and it's interesting to see his bantering with Bones. Funny that they always touch each other and she never recoils from his touch since day 1.

Great shows with fascinating and simple stories.. those were the days.

The One With The Man On Death Row...

Warning: Spoilers
I like this episode. It's completely different from everything else we've seen so far. Granted, that is only six episodes, but still. I like how they change the way the show is slightly, for a great episode.

In this episode, an old acquaintance of Booth, who is a defense attorney, asks him to ask Bones a favor. The team is asked to investigate her newest client, Howard Epps, who is on Death Row, and only has two days to live. They have to determine in this man deserves to die or not.

Fun Fact: Booth says that the legal age of consent for sex is 18 in Washington D.C. However, in thirty states (including D.C.) the legal age is 16.

Best part of the episode: Nothing in particular.

Worst part of the episode: Nothing in particular.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Introducing Howard Epps
mitchrmp10 July 2016
This is the first of several continuation stories on Bones. Howard Epps is an evil man who is just about to be executed. Booth ticks a lot of people off doing the right thing - making sure he is 100% guilty. The story ends in a way I never saw coming!

The friendship between Booth and Bones grows stronger. She says some things in the end that makes you happy these two are partners. She has a lot of respect for Booth and you can see the attraction in the end. The chemistry between B & B is what makes this show so wonderful!

We'll see Howard Epps in, I believe, two more episodes before he's done with.

Meet Howard Epps.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is one of the best in the entire series. My main takeaway is the fascinating struggle Booth has between his duty as a cop and his desire for justice. The twist at the end is a shocker, just when you thought you had it figured out...

You Can't Always Get What You Want

This is a very good episode. When a lawyer friend approaches Booth, she asks him to review the case of a man who is about to be executed. It was one of Booth's early arrests. Of course, the episode revolves around the efforts of everyone to prove the guy didn't do it. But things take an interesting turn at the end. We meet a true villain. The interactions between Brennan and Booth is quite good. He is beginning to believe in her skills as the butt heads with judges and others who think the guy did it. The thing that separates this from the others is a reality and a statement of philosophy--life lessons that are shared. The rest of the gang puts its heart and soul into everything. Well done. I watched this show long ago but had forgotten how good it could be.
