Storyline

An old acquaintance of Booth's, defense attorney Amy Morton, persuades him to ask a favor of Bones. The team examines the forensics of her new client Howard Epps, who is on death row with two days left after a failed final appeal. Anomalies, notably on the victim's remains, reveal alternative suspect David Ross, who admits having had consensual sex with the victim. Booth and Bones persuade FBI Deputy Director Sam Cullen and Judge Cohen to give them time and means to pursue every possibility, but they ultimately unearth another grueling reality... Goofs

Zack shoots several photos at the old crime scene. In some he holds the camera horizontally, others vertically. After each shot we are shown the viewfinder perspective, and the image is always for a camera held horizontally. This is clear from the split-image focus element; the center line is parallel to the base of the camera, and would be vertical when the camera is held vertically. See more »

The One With The Man On Death Row...
15 May 2016 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I like this episode. It's completely different from everything else we've seen so far. Granted, that is only six episodes, but still. I like how they change the way the show is slightly, for a great episode.

In this episode, an old acquaintance of Booth, who is a defense attorney, asks him to ask Bones a favor. The team is asked to investigate her newest client, Howard Epps, who is on Death Row, and only has two days to live. They have to determine in this man deserves to die or not.

Fun Fact: Booth says that the legal age of consent for sex is 18 in Washington D.C. However, in thirty states (including D.C.) the legal age is 16.

Best part of the episode: Nothing in particular.

Worst part of the episode: Nothing in particular.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
