In order to attract sales, Grace Brothers decides to create their own radio show, using a story of Mr. Harmond's. With weird sound effects and the department staff as the characters, it's sure to be a hoot.

Storyline

Plot Summary

With sales down, once again, the staff have a think tank and at the last minute think of advertising on CB radio. And of course it's free, so Mr. Grace loves the idea. Once the staff decide to submit their own ideas, it's up to management to decide which story will be acceptable. But then surprisingly Mr. Harman's story is chosen and the staff are playing all the characters. Oh my! Written by Nadia Nassar

Trivia Miss Belfridge judges the staff's scripts, based on her English Literature O-Level qualification. In reality actress Candy Davis went on to have a very successful career as crime/horror writer Mo Hayder after earning herself a Master of Arts (MA) degree in creative writing at Bath Spa University. Goofs Mr Humphries blamed Mr Spooner when he was using the police frequency, but Mr Humphries is the one who set the controls. Mr Spooner only touched the microphone, not the settings. See more »

Quotes Mrs. Slocombe: On the mantelpiece in my parlour, I've got a whole row of silver cups.
C.B. Voice: Oh. And what are they for?
Mrs. Slocombe: They're for my pussy. Do you know, it wins a prize every time I show it!
[a crash is heard]
Mrs. Slocombe: Hello? Hello? What's happened?
Mr. Humphries: [quickly] I think he's just pulled off for a coffee.
